File Name: Howzat! (Hankin 1980)

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 13 Jun 2023

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1980
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Based on the table by Hankin from 1980.

Graphics redrawn by me. It took a while to redraw, and I guess some parts could be better, but it is much better than what I found on the web.

VPM script based on Tom & destruk's script from Assie34's VP9 table

I made a very simple directb2s. Feel free to improve it :)

Remember to use the day/night slider to adjust the table's brightness, or you may use the LEFT and RIGHT CTRL keys to adjust it. I have included 10 normal light levels and 10 warm light levels.

Thanks JP for spending the time redrawing and recreating this game, it's a lot of fun to play. I'm finding with your new flippers setting LiveCatchSensivity=7 in the script provides for better gaming experience, mostly fixing the lifeless flipper rubbers yet retaining the live catch ability. Thanks again for all you do for our community!

Thanks for your input about the flippers :) I guess I'll reduce that value to 7 then :)
