Red & Ted's Roadshow VP9 - Jamin1.2

Version: 1.2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Jamin

Description:
4:3 VPM Table
Was made for vp9.05 - it has overlapping reels and uses an image larger than 1024x1024 for the main decal on the backdrop (needs HD render box checked). Included is a 1024x1024 image if your setup doesn't like images larger than 1024x1024 or if you need HD render box unchecked. If you need to use the 1024x1024 image just change the decal on the backdrop from using fullview 1-2 final to full 1024.

Enjoy.

What a nice surprise, I actually played one of these Red and Ted Pinballs in the real world yesterday at the Chesepeke Sqaure Mall in my area. When I got done playing I left w/ a smile.

The table is very fun to play and the real table acutally shakes when hit that fire in the hole target. Just like that Eearthshaker pin.

Jamin your version looks just like the real thing and play just as good. And now its been upgraded to VP9 it just doesn't get any better than that, I just don't have to put any real quaters in it to play it.

I also enjoy your Demolition Table too.

dang they have one at Chesapeake Square Mall? i might have to go check it out i'm only about 45min drive away from that mall. Its been a while since i went there...last thing i played there was a Sttng. While i'm out that way i might have to swing by a truck stop on Millitary hwy that usually has a stern machine there. Last time i went there they had a LOTR (was a Ripleys before that) and a Monster bash...not sure what they have there at the moment.

sorry akiles50000 i wouldn't know how to go about making it into a FS table. Anyone is free to mod it to one at any time but it might be a pain as rearranging all those emreels would probably mean redo-ing the reels to fit the FS's view.

WOW! Jamin. This is by far the best looking Roadshow yet. Incredible job. At last we have a VP9 version. Plays great too. I can make shots I never made in the VP8 version. Thank you so much for this.

Just one question though, Is that a graphic glitch right by Red's mouth on the right, or is that a part of the table? I see it in your SS as well.

Thanks again Jamin, Great job.

KEG, If you mean that thing above the flasher there i think i deleted part of the flashbulb that's there which i didn't make use of. Maybe in the future I'll try a table that has full lighting effects similar to what noah and unclereamus are doing in which i'd light that flashbulb up. Right now its just very basic lighting where i only change the lighting on the plastics.

Bolt, sure will. I was mulling over which i would go for next between Monster Bash or Demolition Man. Doctor Who is also up there on one's i would want to do next.

I just played a couple games on my arcade cabinet and this is awesome! Plays sweet. I love the photo-realism of everything, especially the habitrails. Kind of a next-generation Pac-Dude style. cool.gif

Haha, just dl'd the 1.11 version a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to grab this update. Thanks for the continued work. I had a couple of minor issues with the 1.11 version but I'll keep them to myself for now in case they've been fixed.

Great table, though. Thanks again.

Yes, they sure did I played it yesterday, the name of the arcade was called Tilts I think, but it also looks like there were going out of buisness, so they only had this pin left.

Like you , that last time i went I do remeber seeing Meidievial Madness, and the lord of the rings, and that was months ago, I happend to go in there yesterday and I only saw Red and Ted, but like I said it looks like there were going out of business, because I saw only a few arcade machines and alot of boxes and things being packed up.
