I'm having an issue getting my outputs to work on the powerboard as well as the main board.

What is working so far:

1. VPX table

2. Pinup Popper

3. Flippers and all input buttons

4. Sound

5. Nudge, etc, all works.

 

Basically, if I didn't want to have feedback, I'd be more or less done. I've mounted and wired the solenoids and the gear motor into the bottom of the display. 

What I've done/found:

1. Tested all continuity in all solenoids and gear motor from the source to the pin headers on the power board. It is fine.

2. When setting outputs in pinscape config to "on" and trying to test feedback on just the solenoids, I found that nothing worked. so I started testing all output connections starting with the main board using this guide: Pinscape Build Guide (mjrnet.org)

3. Started testing JP8 and none of the small leds work.

     1. Went through advanced debugging on this page Pinscape Build Guide (mjrnet.org) and there were no issues. Everything reads as having power, there's continuity between the IC1/2 chips

      2. Swapped chips for new ones - nothing.
      3. Made sure that using the output tester that the outputs were "on".
4. I've stopped at testing JP8 and haven't even made my way to the power board testing for solenoids as if that won't work there's no point in testing the powerboard until I get this resolved.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure it's something stupid I'm missing, but after 3 days of banging my head against the wall I have no idea. It's like I'm missing a "magic switch" in the software to say "hey, turn this on"... even though I believe I"ve turned that switch on when testing.
