Sorry for the months of delay. But, as they say, better late than ever. So here it is! To commemorate the longest running television game show, in 50 years this year, here is the game show that it all got started. Fifty years ago, two famous game show producers, Mark Goodson and Bill Todman in 1972 decided to bring back a game show that ran on NBC and ABC in the 50's and the 60's in New York City To the CBS Television City Studios of Los Angeles, California. They made a brand new format, put new bonus games, and hired a famous mc from Truth or Consequences host named Bob Barker. And the rest as they say is history! They also hired a legendary announcer Jonny Olson to start the show and said these famous lines. "A fortune in fabulous prizes may go today if you when the price is right!". And, "Your the first four contestants on The New Price is Right!" Finally, Olsen said: "And now here is the star of The New Price is Right, Bob Barker!" Today the tradition continues with Drew Carey And co host announcer George Gray.
