I noticed many guides and parts lists show using williams/bally legs for their virtual pin. Any reason not to use Stern legs on a virtual pin? It would be widebody build if matters. Reason is some potential cost savings. I assume there is a good reason but I often make bad assumptions :) Thanks!

There really isn't any reason to use a particular style/make of pinball legs. As long as it holds the cabinet up, and makes you happy, that's all that matters.

Past that, I bet the builds in question are based around a Bally/Williams cabinet design, with the idea of keeping to the specific "look".
