Logan's Run - v1.3 (This table release is for those who do NOT use the Pup Pack)
 
TABLE OBJECTIVES:
 
1. To escape the City of Domes and RENEW by lighting the lower white crystal located between the flippers (ie Extra Ball). This is accomplished by completing the ANHK drop targets as well as the red ESCAPE targets and then sinking the lit WHITE Skillshot!
2. To winning a SPECIAL by completing the NEW YOU red targets and then sinking the lit RED Skillshot!
3. To obtain the highest score!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
 
Put the included .vpx table file (v1.3) in your VisualPinball/Tables folder. 
 
*** IN ORDER TO PLAY THIS LOGANS RUN TABLE PROPERLY, please follow the steps below:
 
1. Before playing table for the first time, press F6 once you enter the game.  Make sure that the Novelty Dip Switch setting is set to Normal.  This will award Special and Extra Ball during play.  Once verified, press OK then F3 to reset and save with new setting.  You only need to do this once.
 
2. To activate the Logan's Run FlexDMD option (for those who have that functionality installed):
a. Go into the Logans Run table's script and change Line 14 from UseFlexDMD = 0 to UseFlexDMD = 1. Compile script. 
b. Once table starts up, press F1 and uncheck 'Use External DMD'.  Hit OK and restart table for it to take effect.
c. When done playing the table upon exiting, please remember to save the table and all these settings will be saved next time you play.

The FlexDMD script included in v1.1 was created by scutters - and he did amazing work!  I was so glad when he reached out to me with this idea, and even more so that he was able to pull it off!

 

Such nice work for me to add to the table!

What a gorgeous table! And the flex DMD? *chef’s kiss*!

 

I installed the pup pack, too. However, I cannot get DOF working with this one, at all! I have over 100 tables all working fine, but this one is stumping me. No solenoids, no LED bar. I tried to hard-code some DOF lines in the flipper section, Nada. I checked my directoutput.ini to make sure the arena line was in there, and it seemed alright, even mentioned the same device numbers at the end of the line for my flippers as other rom entries. I tried to run directoutputconfigtester, but dont know what the heck I am doing in there!

I think I posted the solution to my problem above over on VPUniverse, but didn't post the solution here. Thanks to the table creator @johnnybravo, who helped track down the solution! If anyone else finds that their DOF isn't working on this table, then may help:

 

In your directoutputconfig.ini file (located in your /DirectOutput/Config folder), find the line item for the arena ROM, and copy it but change the name from arena so that there is a duplicate entry for the name LogansRun. That cleared it up!

If someone could share the arena ROM with me I'd appreciate it. I can't believe out of all the ROMs I have...I'm missing this one.
