Greetings.

Today I started getting an error message when using the media manager within Pinup Popper setup. Prior to today, everything was working just fine. When I try to look up media, by clicking on the little globe icon next to "audio," "backglass," "playfield," "wheel image," etc. an error message pops up which reads:

Socket Error #11001

Host not found.

Any ideas why I'm getting this error all of a sudden, or what I could do to resolve the issue?

Thanks!

Thanks, Pinball Wizard.

I'm new to this also. Generally speaking, what's the best way to know when software updates and table updates are available? There is a lot to keep track of, with all the different software programs, and table files.

Ha. I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer. My wife is already getting pretty annoyed at how much time I'm spending doing this.

The new beta files did the trick for me. Thanks very much for the helpful tip!

Then you know what you must do

Build her her very own pincab
Customized to suite her (Hot pink if it must be)

Then let the infection set in.

Pretty soon you will have no worries, she will just ignore you cause she is working on her own cab

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Anybody here also have the problem after going to the latest beta 1.46 r 18 that after exiting any table the global volume is about 34% ? After exiting twice it goes to 13%. I checked volume in the game manager (nothing there) and also in the global config which is on -1

Not complaining as I know it is a beta, just wanted to hear if anyone has the same problem. If not it must be someting else.

Thanks for the quick reply @outhere ! I checked the second link you suggested and those options were ok. Now I did put in the option VolumeChange=0 in the custom_options and that solved the problem, but it also breaks the functionality that the volume returns to the previous setting, so when I put in say 75% at a table volume in the game manager, it stays at 75% when exiting the table.

What it does now (without the VolumeChange=0): Volume is on 100%. Start table, still 100%, exit table, 34% and I wanted to confirm if this happens also with others.

I just knew where to get the info
I have not tried any of this myself
Maybe somebody that's been having the same issue will jump in

Are you using pinvol as well? If yes then just have pinvol control all volumes. If no then not sure
