What does one need to do, in order to get their shaker motor to activate during a game?
I got a Zeb's PNP shaker and put it in with no obvious issues. I installed the most recent DOF R3++. Zeb suggests using LEDBlinky's SimpleLEDtest program to test it, and all appears well! My shaker's moving and shaking nicely there.
On the backglasses, my plugins are activated, and DirectOutput is showing as Active with no last exception.
And yet, when I take down a saucer in Attack from Mars and save Germany... no shaker. The shaker would definitely kick in then, right? The Earthshaker guy yells "Earthshaker" but my cab ain't shakin'.
I checked the DirectOutput file after running the table, and I do see the shaker listed. Nothing else in that file appears to show a failure of any kind (below is the DirectOutput from my last AFM attempt.)
So I'm stumped. Does anybody know what I'm forgetting? When I first built my cab, I didn't think I'd ever go the DOF route, so did I forget an initial setting? Thanks in advance!
