Yes, finally, I can relegate the (currently broken multiple screen support) Zaccaria Pinball commercial app to the dustbin where it apparently belongs. Thanks!

Hi goldchicco,

I tried the table and works great, but there is a misplacement of the flippers.
If you look at the IPDB link you can see how the inner flippers at rest are too much inclined downward, while the outer twos should be more inclined downward to almost match their tips to the median of the inner ones fulcrum.

I know that if you turn downward the outer flipper that way the ball can stuck between the tip of the outer flipper and the back of the inner one, for this reason my own machine has a nail pinned in that place to avoid it, and the IMDB one has them too.

Enlarge this photo and you can see the nails there between the flippers:
https://www.ipdb.org...no=49137&zoom=1

Edit - here the nails placements are more visible indeed:

https://www.ipdb.org...no=56466&zoom=1

The inner flippers so inclined seem to make harder place the ball in the Time Bridge and the Time Hole (this is just an opinion of mine, of course).

Anyways, as said you did a great job, thank you for sharing it with the community.

Massimo

Hi goldchicco,

yesterday I patched the flippers positions as per my real table.

Just to say, the plastic extensions are made of the the very same red semitransparent plastic of the flipper, not opaque, so I fixed those too.

I also discovered that the two walls LeftFlipperWall and RightFlipperWall are unreliable to prevent the ball to pass through the plastic extension of the outer flippers. In case you try to stop the ball activating the flipper when the ball is incoming on that extension, there is a tiny but consistent possibility that the ball stand above the still dropped down wall and the outer flipper is already activated, in that case the wall stands dropped down until the ball pass above it. I solved this issue just making RightFlipper1 and LeftFlipper1 End Radius properties higher to allowing the tip of the bat to work as the plastic extension and removing the Toy tag from the Physics properties of FlipperT3 and FlipperT4.

Next I would add the nails and in case you want it, I could give you the fixed vpx file.

Just let me know.

Have a great day,

Massimo

I am working on ver 1.1, fixing other details, so please send me your update vpx file, so I can combine both.

Thank you in advance

Ok goldchicco,

I can't leave here the zipped vpx file since I've a 16Mb upload limit, so this is the link to my MediaFire storage account:

Edit: link expired

Note that the mod includes these objects:

FlipperT1

FlipperT2

FlipperT3

FlipperT4

P_LeftFlipperWing

P_RightFlipperWing

LeftFlipper

LeftFlipper1

RightFlipper

RightFlipper1

FlipperLSh

FlipperLSh1

FlipperRSh

FlipperRSh1

Ramp62

Metals2 Ramp(10)

(I'm not sure why the two metal wires just above the two outer flippers have so different names, anyways I just moved their lower control points in the place as per my own real table)

LeftFlipperWall

RightFlipperWall

(These walls have been removed, so the lines of the code script which referred to them have been removed from the script by a remark sign at the beginning of the line)

Please note that I was also trying to remove the shadow on the P_MovingPF_Bottom object because that ball shadow is absolutely unrealistic, the ambient light is diffused, so that shadow should be not  there or at least it should very faded.

I hope this could help you fine-tuning this table, thank you for spending your time on this Zaccaria Historic table.

As I learn how to do it, I'll add the nails between the flippers, even if I seen that the simulated rubbers elasticity seem to avoid the ball to stuck there.

In case of needs about theses mods, feel free to contact me of course.

Have a great day.

Massimo

I spent the last week thinking Zaccaria had done something really unconventional with those split flippers at crazy angles.

I put the rom in the correct folder but there is no background sfx just flipper sounds etc. Is there anyway to fix this?

This table will not respond correctly when you follow the tutorial posted on this site to increase the ball count. It simply shows three balls every single time i go through the whole procedure to increase ball count during game play.
