JP (or anyone more experienced than me), I'm a little slow with my dev skills, but gaining speed.  I am assuming that "Arcade Physics 3.0" is a series of refined, tested and improved sub routines in the table scripts that JP includes in his newer tables. So if this the way to go moving forward, I definitely will follow it if that is a bulk of what you other dev guys/girls are doing.

These are the setting I have found after several months of studying/watching videos and comparing to what we use in VPX. I don't know if other authors will like my settings as they are quite different of what they use. The good thing with VPX is that it doesn't matter which settings you use, as long as they are balanced. But with my settings I have accomplished all I wanted, the rubbers, the flippers, everything is working just like I wanted :) I guess other authors need to test these physics, I have documented them quite well, I least I think so :)

X L ent, Thanks JP for taking the time to explain that. Given I wish to accelerate my ability to do table development and that your volume of work is substantially prolific, I'll probably shadow your code base for now because all the games I have played where your code is in play has a great feel and response to it. I have a few ideas I'm interested in exploring once I can stand on my own 2 feet.  There is a lot of great talent in this forum so consider myself in school to learn from all you dev contributors (My head still spinning with the TOM Release this year). I do appreciate all of you who release tables for this awesome hobby and teach us noobs what to do.

Just popped this on my cab. I really like this game with the 2 flippers instead of the 3. I always liked this game but hated the left flipper array. Thanks so much JP for my rediscovering of this game. I'll be playing it more often now!

if you edit the b2s xml file and set it so the report error option is 0, it wont do that

I'm a purist in that I love something that is as close to the real thing but I also like alternate takes, which brings a freshness to an old gem.  Thanks for thinking a bit outside the box JP, it plays differently than other Captain Fantastic and looks great!

I too like the original tables best, but when already there is a nice version, and I feel to make some changes, then I make them :) I really don't like those 3 or 4 flippers at the bottom, so I thought "why not change them?" And the table played quite well. I was not going to share the table, but after adding the new physics I thought the table should be a nice example :)

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 17.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Some small changes here and there.
- New playfield in 4k (ish :))

Really like the new version, great job!

But somehow, I lost the the Music for the table(?)  I copied the files to the Music folder (and even tried copying the CF folder into the Music folder, no music.
What am I missing?  This used to work.
