First post here.  With a little help from a friend I’ve managed to build my very own Virtual Pinball cabinet.  One of the things I wanted was a bank of service buttons because, well, why not.  I didn’t see anything I liked so I made my own.  I’d like to share my design with this group and get an idea of what you all think of it.  It currently lives on Thingiverse.  Please check it out and tell me what you think.

Cool idea.  I used the regular set of 4 service buttons like on a "real" pinball machine (like $19), but I kid you not, the switch for sensing if the door is open or closed gets a little funky sometimes and doesn't always work.  Using regular microswitches like this could be a great option for something like that.

I have a power button under my cabinet in a similar location to a 90's era Williams/Bally machine, but again, having it inside the coin door would be convenient for people wanting to hide it or lock people out of it.

Thanks for sharing a slick design like this.

Most tedious part was making up the ground wire to tie back into the Pinscape controller.  But the option I found in the Pinscape setup to control the button action seems like it could keep funky'ness to a minimum.
