Thanks guys, I was hoping you would update Rush like you did AC/DC, Def Leppard, and Van Halen.

Rush is the all time best Canadian band with arguably the greatest drummer of all time (RIP Neil Peart).

Of course I may be biased after all I am a canuck!

Is there a way in the script to hide UltraDMD if I don't want to use it? Thanks for a great table!

Is there a way in the script to hide UltraDMD if I don't want to use it? Thanks for a great table!

 Easiest way, i guess would be to simply position the DMD off screen, then you will not see it.

You can disable the ultraDMD stuff in the script
But you would have to go through the entire script and comment out all calls to use it, as well as its init sub.

Not hard or rocket science, just very tedious.

You could size the ultraDMD window, to just a very small and unobtrusive thing also

The other thing i could suggest is change the table to use FlexDMD, as flexDMD supports a command to hide the DMD window entirely
with out having to disable anything, and i dont think ultraDMD does that.

I'm a total noob to VP, where do I put the files? So far I put the usual .vpx file in Tables, the musics in Music, but I got no idea where to put the wheel image and the ultradmd folder. Thanks

Hi gnozze,

Correct, the table/VPX file goes into your tables folder, so does the directb2s (b2s needs to be named identical to table). If the table requires UltraDMD the folder also goes into the tables folder. Note on adding music, some tables require you to add an entire folder to the music folder and other tables require you to place the individual music files into the music folder, this information will come with the table download. Wheel images are added using the "media manager" if you are using PinUp Popper" as a front end to load and play your tables, a couple of useful videos attached.  and

Table has all the DOF commands in it

Need to look on DOF site for a config named RUSH2112_B2S

or if one does not exist, you would need to make one

You can find all the table events in the table script

I looked at the DOF site and everything seems fine to me. I have over 300 tables and most of them work fine, only a few that don't have any DOF effects, so I had assumed those tables didn't support DOF effects, but recently I found out that all RUSH2112_B2S based tables are not working for me (Black Sabbath , Van Hallen, Rush, etc.) So what could be going on? Could I check some logs?

All the tables mentioned above are pretty much created from a template, so all have the same script, what change is only the skin and the songs.

Argrim added the DOF code and that code was copied to all of them.

I understand that. I'm wondering what I could do to try and figure out why none of these work in my cab, I mean DOF effects.

Does the table's B2S name (Or CGameName) match the DOFConfig name for the table?

My mistake. Van Halen table DOF effects are working fine, I mean solenoids and leds are firing, but no in the Rush table. I was looking in the script any differences but I'm not really an expert and can't figure it out how to resolve it ... any help please?

Curious if anyone is having issues with more than one player?  When I add credits and hit the first player it starts up as normal, but when I go to add a second player, it locks and kicks it back to a script error on line 5486: If Credits < 1 then DOF 209, DOFPulse End If

I also noticed that there is way to change the rom to freeplay but I can figure out the buttons to actually change it.  I can get into the rom menu and see it but nothing changes it?

We didn't have any DOF when I made the VP9 table based on destruk's music template. So I guess you can remove or comment that line without any trouble :)

The table does not uses a rom, it is an original table and everything is in the script. So to change to 5 balls you need to find the line:

gsBallsPerGame=3

and change it to

gsBallsPerGame=5

 Thanks JP!  Commenting that line out fixed the issue with the second player.

 I will look at the script for the settings, thanks again!
