Really nice backglass image, thanks for your hard work. For some reason the DMD is sitting in the middle left hand side of the backglass image  Since this is not a ROM based DMD game, how do I move the DMD down into the correct position?

Thanks again.

If you have a 2 screen setup also see Separate ScreenRes.txt file in the link <-- My mistake this will not work

Hi Guys,

I have a 2 screen + RealDMD (pin3) setup.

From everything I have read - I cannot get the DMD to appear on my Pin3 - which is fine, but I can't seem to get the placement of the DMD to open in the DMD speaker area on the backglass either. As stated in someones post above - the DMD appears on the left center of the backglass.

I went through and read and tried everything suggested in the Seperare ScreenRes file and everything else suggested in the https://www.vpforums...e=7#entry346276 post, but all that seems to do it move the backglass around and NOT being able to place the DMD.

When i opened the new backglass in Backglass Designer - the DMD area is set to middle left of the backglass - and when I try and set the new area to between the speakers - it is TINY compared to the space provided.

Can this table use a real DMD?

If not - how do I get it to fit in the correct DMD space on the new backglass?

Like I said, I read / tried all the suggestions and tried for at least an hour yesterday to solve this.

@Outhere

Ok. so how is the positioning set for the DMD? Is it in the table script somewhere? Or is it designated by the backglass file?

Like I said - I was able to change the DMD default position by editing the backglass - but it is VERY small compared to the backglass image itself.

What is odd - the original backglass that came with the table works and IS in the right position - but I am not a fan of the image in the original b2s - which is why I wanted to use this newer one ...

How do I set the position of the DMD and also scale it to the correct size to fit in the speaker grill. When you set the position in the b2s designer - it keeps it the same size as the original DMD and I can't seem to scale it.

the size and position of the DMD is set by your screenres.txt folder

You cannot modify your "MAIN"  screenres.txt file to  move and resize this DMD  as settings you add will

not match the size and position of all yoru DMDs

create a sub folder with the name of your table and add a screenres.txt that will only affect the table in the sub folder

C:\Tables\Scarface - Balls and Power (Original 2013)\

Scarface - Balls and Power (Original 2013).vpx

Scarface - Balls and Power (Original 2013).db2s

You can say that  given how the 3rd screen DMD is built into the dB2s

You can't stretch/resize and drag a dB2sDMD

You can only modify the size and  position by changing the values on your screenres.txt

creating a game specific screenres.txt is similar to creating a rom specific DMD size/position in Freezys dll.

if anyone is willing to take on the challenge of making a Flex DMD code so that this displays on Freezys dll,

this problem will go away  because if you can get it to display on freezys dll  --> you can get it to display on a pindmd3

@32assassin  -- I use the res file for some games, I thought maybeThere was something special about this B2S

@HiRez00 --- Remove the grill Height from the back glass then you can set it up just like a 3 screen setup and move the DMD where you want

The frames in the DMD were added to the directb2s when Herweh and I were making the directb2s. Herweh did some kinda magic to link the images in the b2s backglass and tie them to events.

I don't remember the details it was over 7 years ago.

Can the location and possible size of the video stuff be moved and change
I tried to make it a 2 screen back glass and I can get the score where belongs but not the video items

No I don't think so. If you have your backglass set to 1280x1024 it should look normal and the frames will be DMD sized. At the time this was made it was b2s designer 1.0
