Ok, I have updated the file to 1.0.2

All new lighting and shadows.  Sun added.  Fixed ball getting stuck near the 'L' lane.  Made a couple of textures look better.  Added ambient water sounds (can be turned off in script).

It is MUCH brighter and more natural looking now. I added a sun.. It has sun rays and changes colours slightly as the multi-tiered cloud layers pass by. I also added shadowing. I am no artist, but I think it came out looking pretty nice. This allowed the playfield lighting to be increased, and I think it looks a bit closer to natural daylight now than it was before. Shadowing makes a HUGE difference for depth perception in VR I think.

Please let me know what you think of the update!

Video looks great, upgrades that make sense.  "Quick Robin, to the bat-fishing polls so we can test this out!"

Hey there do I finally got a chance to try it out. Amazing Vr room , at one point I jumped when the fish jumped over the damn pin. I’m going to have to look up the script though and see if I can adjust something because so far it is quite choppy, even when turning off the VR room. I have turned off the glass etc but have it done the usual suspect like turning off reflections etc. I am running at 1.75 SS but that’s usually ok on my VR rig

Amazing though. I really love how your VR room interpretation is always more than just a pin in a room. This is not to say that’s bad, because sometimes for some pins it’s all you need but for a game theme like fishing it needs something more :)

Here’s hoping Stargate (if Authors agree) is possible someday

Thanks Loafer.   The only things to be turned off are at the top of the script.. Glass, reflections, and topper lights.   When you turn off the room, everything is gone, and all the timers stop, so nothing should be affecting your framerate (from the script).   The only difference from the original table, would be the cabinet components used.   I only experience a bit of jutter during multiball on this table, and your system, I believe has run tables better than mine in the past.   Can you open up the original Bigus table in VR, and see if there is stutter for you on that?

Yeah I turned that off. So the MAIN issue was at my end, I had super sampling turned up higher in Steam VR than I thought (I guess I've been experimenting and forgot about it). So turning it down and keeping VP at 1.75 makes it looks pretty good still and the frame was smoother. I still preferred to play without the VR room off because that seems to be just about perfect with a minuscule little frame rate imperfection but overall it's fine.

I tried the original Bigus table and it plays perfectly smooth, never a hint of slow down (of course without the DMD), so I gather it's the cabinet parts and the environment that causes this.  IT's cool, the VR room stuff is awesome glad to have it and it's fantastic to show people. The frame rate was good enough to do that and when I want to play it more seriously, I just hit the right magna save button and the VR room disappears and I've enjoying the game itself
