File Name: Indiana Jones_ The Pinball Adventure (Williams 1993)_Bigus(MOD)

File Submitter: bigus1

File Submitted: 31 Mar 2020

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Bigus1, ninuzzu and Tom Tower
Manufacturer: Williams
Year: 1993
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

This gem is from ninuzzu and Tom Tower.
I've sorted the ball-eating subway and some other issues and given it new lights.
2.1 has punchier flippers and a bunch of fixes and is much more fun.
Enjoy :)

One of my favorite tables by Tom and Ninuzzu. Curious to find out your improvements. Thanks!

Quick Question:  Do I have to uncheck anything or turn my graphics down to get this to load??  Is my computer to lame to play?  :)

Now THAT'S funny!  The table is complaining about a missing ij_l7 rom set but I have the roms in the roms folder.  I guess once I figure this one out I can play it.

Hello.  When I try to run the table, I get an error saying that it can't find the roms (machine terminated before initialization ...).  I downloaded the roms from this site and placed the zip in the roms folder.  The table still fails to load.

Rom name:  ij_l7

contents:

ijone_l7.rom along with 6 sound roms

I understand that the message typically indicates missing roms but I have no idea how.

Can anyone please assist?

Thank you,

Jason

From reading posts on this forum, its my understanding that having exclusive full screen checked in your setup menu will cause this

you need to uncheck 4xAAaliasing in the option of  the table and set it to default for stutter problem on this table

I am experiencing a little bit of stutter too. I'll have to try changing that option.

I am experiencing a little bit of stutter too. I'll have to try changing that option.

Open the game in the VP editor  and on the left click options then on the top right make sure items 4xAA (SAAA) are set to default

Thanks for the brilliant release!!!

Anyway, I experience DMD (using a notebook) not displaying after table starts ("alt+tab" does not work - I can see DMD but i cannot select it).

Any suggestions?

Thx.

Great looking table! However, every time a left or right flipped is used, points rack up, no balls in play needed (a way to achieve high scores without any skills needed)! Anyone else having this problem?

The custom coindoor settings seem to be completely ignored. I try to have 1 credit a coin. The same settings with other Williams tables of this era work as expected.

It works fine on my computer. The only thing I can think off is that you may have old vbs scripts.
