File Name: Arizona (LTD do Brasil 1977)

File Submitter: mfuegemann

File Submitted: 07 Mar 2020

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): mfuegemann
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1977
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

This is Arizona by LTD do Brasil.

Resources have been hard to find again. In the first place no playfield image was availiable at all, so I was not able to start the table analysis.
Thanks go to CARLOSGUIZZO and the Boituva pinball club for providing the images and some gameplay videos.
At the top of the script You have the option to adjust the sound volume and GI brightness and activate FreePlay.

The table has no DIP switch menu to adjust the number of balls or other settings. At the end of a game there is a match feature that awards a credit for scores ending on 50 or 70, depending on the number shown in the "Ball in Play" display.

The ROM can be found at VPUniverse, for instance.

Edit: LTD System 3 has only 1 coin switch. For the cab users I added a ltd3.vbs with all 3 coin chutes closing that switch.
Have fun
Michael

There is something in the VP community which works only half as good in the politics: International collaboration.

Is there a problem with uploading the rom for this on VPForums? It's not a Gottlieb asset is it?

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

Hi Albert,

thank You for finding this. Rubbe6 is also inactive. I cannot find anything wrong with the rubber walls, but deleting and recreating them does the trick.

An update is on its way.

Michael

This is a strange phenomenon. Over one hour i tried to find out why this didn't work and i couldn't find anything. When i placed those triggers at another place and did set the bottom height to 1, then it worked - but not in the places where they belong. Then i used three invisible triggers, this worked finally.

A lot of work in vain, i should have looked into this thread again before starting... Your solution is a lot easier!

Now i will take care of Rubber6.

Michael,

same problem with Rubber5. Just in case you didn't notice, because you only mentioned Rubber6.

Hi Albert,

I switched that one too with update 1.1. The behaviour is really strange. The properties of the rubber walls are identical to those who work. The faulty rubbers are registering hits only at the corners...
