File Name: Skateboard (Inder 1980)

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 05 Jan 2020

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas
akiles50000
mfuegemman
Pmax65
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1980
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Based on the table by Inder from 1980.

From akiles50000: Gracias a (thanks to):

And I can add Kiwi for testing the table, and also again to mfuegemman for testing the table, making the directb2s and the DIP switches routine, find all the numbers for the switches, lights and solenoids and I guess he could have made the table himself :)

Thanks also to Pmax65 for the changes in the vbs file, which is now called inder_skateball.vbs, and in the dipswitch routine.

Also thanks to Rajo Joey for the wheel art.

Here are my two wheels for this table.
If you want more wheels made by me (nearly 1.000), take a look here: https://mega.nz/#F!IFsxBbCD!04cfuNEJi5hwuYxL6CvQIg
Or download them directly from the PinUp Popper mediadatabase.

The wheels below are reduced in quality, because of the very small uploadsize here.

Dear Michael, alikes50000, and Juan,

thank you for the fantastic 80's Spanish Pin! Looks great but ....

unfortunately I cannot insert coins, pressing the "5" or "4" does not count up any credit, can you offer a fix?

I checked the scipt and found no respective line at "key_down". In Canaster 86 it is the same, but it works. I presume it is something in the *.vbs, but this is far beond my skills.

Thank you in advance, Christian.

Do you have the inder_centaur.vbs in the scripts folder? And the latest vpinmame? Download the latest vpinmame beta 33 from here https://www.vpforums...showtopic=27063 (or from vpuniverse)

Yes I have the inder_centaur.vbs in the script and table folders. However I have not the vpinmame beta 33 in use. Is an installation required or is it sufficient to change the mention file only?

Just changing the VPinMAME.dll file and performing the installation again works

Did you change something in VPMKeys.vbs at Coins?

I always do that to Values 6,7,6,7

No, everything looks plausible to me and works with the other ~ 400 tables of 921, 995, PM5 and VPX6.

"5" is my coin trigger.

Thank you very much Akiles5000 (and friends who helped getting resources), Mfuegemman, Gaston, JPSalas, Kiwi and Joey2001. As you should know by now. I absolutely love to see old machines getting a second life for everyone to try. Without you, I doubt that this would ever happen.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Maybe re-download game and VBS file Which you probably tried already

I am at the same Status, all the latest Versions

Give it a try with VPMKeys and Change Coin1/2 to 6/7 … btw. Value 6 is for Key "5"

keyInsertCoin1 = 6 '(3) Insert coin in slot 1
keyInsertCoin2 = 7 '(4) Insert coin in slot 2
keyInsertCoin3 = 6 '(5) Insert coin in slot 3
keyInsertCoin4 = 7 '(6) Insert coin in slot 4

I only have to wait for some of the Coins and Register that.
