File Name: Miraculous

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 15 Oct 2019

Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

This is an original table based on the characters from the tv-series Miraculous, the adventures of Ladybug & Cat-Noir

This is meant to be a children's table, and its layout is based on the Fireball home version. You'll find the rules in the table info.

The tv-series Miraculous is all about fighting, but this table is just for fun, like an old pinball table, and the goal is to score as high as possible and to get as many extra balls as you can.
Up to 4 players can play.

Thanks to Carlos Guizzo for suggeting this table

It's impossible only if you believe so. ;)

Hi JP, I was going to ask if you had a wheel to upload for this table, but you've given me an Easter Egg by hiding it in the image manager.

For you DYI-ers out there, open the Image manager and scroll down the list to "miraculous". Export the image on to your hard drive. Instant wheel.

JP,

Thanks so much for bringing the child in me to life with your wonderful retro tables. They are so smooth to play, the ball load bell chimes and flipper sounds are pure joy. cheers Mate

Thanks JP my niece is happy with this board, she visits me more often now, and I don't need LED strips with that light effect when you throw the ball ;)
There is a lot of work in these original tables I hope to learn how to handle flexDMD and to be able to make my own Original one day

Thank you for the table JP, I am curious how we get this table on the DOF configure list to get feed back going? I believe you also made Trolls and would like to get feedback going on that one too :)

I know almost 0 about DOF, I guess the best is to send a PM to arngrim.

As it is a ROMless table, either JP could add DOF to it

but it might be hard for him to do in a way he would be happy with as he does not have DOF to test what he is doing

Or

You could submit it to the DOF guys (Arngrim) for them to DOF it i think, but not fully sure on that

I have added a lot of DOF commands to the table. If you take a look at the script you'll see that there are enough DOF commands to get some effects, but I haven't a clue what you must do at your end to get them working. I guess you have to add the name of the table manually to a kind of DOF config file.

And the name of the table is configured at the top of the script: Const cGameName = "miraculous"

Oh, in that case, he just has to build a DOF config for it, if one does not exist already on the DOF site

There are a couple tutorials for doing that, one in the downloads area

Thank you JP and Wiess. JP, I saw your script and it totally looks ready to go with DOF, but I believe it has to be added to the config table resource so make it all go:
http://configtool.vp...e.com/login.php

I will see if there is an official process to submit a table to be added to their list. There must be some format, or maybe you are right, maybe the process is as simple as direct messaging Arngrim lol

Great table btw, my daughter always goes to this table when she plays.

So looks like it is a common question how to submit, but outhere responded over on vpuniverse that the Original tables are easier. since JPs tables are original and no rom, I can use a table in the database already like Diablo and config that to match JPs DOF in the table script, then in the table script change the miraculous name to Diablo, so it uses that config file. Will give it a shot this weekend.

**update**
Changed the table script to a table I am not using and then went through and changed all the triggers to match what you have in there already. Was able to get flippers, start button, and the two bumpers! Im not sure how to trigger the other targets or add fun stuff like a fan when you hit those two outer lanes, they appear to be triggers maybe? I will have to see if it is possible to trigger DOF from those events you have in the script.

Good stuff!
