Please could someone tell me how to get the DMD bezel to display with the 3-screen T&J backglass?
Tried show grill, but no disco.
Cheers

I have 3 screens. The preview image clearly shows a matching bezel around the DMD (not backglass)?
This confused me, because even if I could get the bezel to display (which I can't), the DMD would cover it anyway, unless I resized it to fit within.
I didn't even know you could have two separate B2S images displayed at once?? However, you must be able to, as there is a YouTube video of this working?...

Outhere... The 3-screen version shows a bezel around the DMD. Please look at the YouTube video link above (towards end of video).
I don't want to use the 2-screen B2S, as I have a separate virtual DMD.
No big deal if I can't get DMD bezel working, but would have been nice!
I have several hundred tables all setup and working correctly. Just to clarify... I'm trying to get the 3-screen DMD BEZEL to display.
The DMD itself is working great.

Exactly what I'm trying to achieve. But I just get Freezy's external DMD and no bezel.
What are your B2S server settings for this table please?
*EDIT* Looks like I have some reading to do, as didn't realize there was an updated version of the server with aspect ratio adjustment and "Frame" (not bezel) settings.

Can you use the new 5 lines with both versions of the server out of interest?
This one for example:

Or do you have to use the one?...

can you please clearly state what type of DMD screen you have,
the youtube video you posted is a LCD screen, you can use the 3 screen dB2s and resize the DMD to fit your DMD screen using the screenres.txt
if you have a RGB panel DMD such as any of the PINDMD versions you can't run the 3 screen dB2s on your RGB Panel DMD!!!!!!
;
the size of a DMD screen needs to be 128x32 in order to be displayed in a PINDMD display
you can't resize the the dB2s DMD screen to fit a PINDMD.
you might be able to modify the dB2s to have a DMD screen size of 128x32, and it might display in the PINDMD.
I have done multiple but have not confirmed that they work given that I have a 2 screen cab.

With this info in the 1st post we could have solved it by the 2nd post

Older post I know but I'm having the exact same problem. Latest B2S server, screenres.txt looks fine but I do not see the bezel. I am having the same problem with the Diner table also. I have disabled the vpinmame external DMD to no avail. I see the scoring, but no colored bezel. Is it the additional 5 lines referenced above that I am missing perhaps? Any help appreciated. Thx.

The directb2s displays the border and the scoring led display. Disable/hide the vpinmame/freeze DMD
Great thanks gtxioe. A straightforward and helpful response.
Hello, mremulator. Did you achive it?
I'm exactly with the same issue: The LASTEST (1.3.0.4) Backglass Server is installed, backglass and external DMD (freezy) work both fine, but "frame", unchecked both DMD’s in F1 menu, for DMD area doesn't want show up ![]()
Any idea how to do the trick? THX

Hi,
SUCESSFULL! After a few experiments, I've achieved 3 screens working like they must be.
In my case, the key was the B2S SERVER configuration, "B2S_SetUp.exe", or in last term, "ScreenRes.txt".
Many people with three screeens use settings pointed to one screen only: "DISPLAY 1" and all coordenates are refered to this one. Because, in theory, this settings are to prevent Windows to assign automaticaly wrong display number to the screeens. I used this settings and they were working fine in my system with the 3 screens with any other B2S. But they didn't work with B2S made for DMD frames (like this one "Tom & Jerry" or neither other well known):

How is it working in my system (Windows 10, 20H2, 19042.630)?
The only difference with the essential info links mentioned by Outhere was that I had to go to a more classical approach and set B2S to use the backglass in the second monitor: "DISPLAY 2" (and, of course, set the right coordenates refered to it):

Now it is working like a charm and it's amazing! ![]()
Thanks again to everybody involved to bring to us this awesome features to pinball emulation.
Cheers and remember: Release the Kraken!

Yea
Basically, if the playfield is on display0, and backglass is on display1 and DMD is on display2
And when i say display0,1,2 i mean the logical hardware designations, and those are not always exactly terribly apparent
And what is worse, when you plug and unplug monitors, windows will go and make duplicate entries for them, showing them designated as more than 1 logical device.
And while VPX itself wont really care, it makes an utter confusing mess when it comes to B2S and other things that look to the registry for screen geometry and position etc, and they get conflicting answers
It also is a bit tricky when you simply have no choice, due to available video outs or cable types etc, and you have to have the playfield on what is logical display2
Then you have to play a bit of wack a mole.
Any time i pull a monitor for any reason, even if i plug it back in the same place and its the only one i unplugged
I go delete these reg keys and do a quick reboot, it helps maintain sanity
If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways
Spend it on Hookers and Blow
