File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 29 May 2019

File Category: VPX Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas

Manufacturer: Taito
Year: 1977
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Based on the Criterium 77 table from Taito do Brasil.

Credits:
B2S, playfield and plastics graphics by Halen
Backdrop & B2S image based on the Criterium backglass image made by editoy
Apron by editoy with the rules by Carlos Guizzo.

This is an EM table with digital displays. It was made during the transition period between EM and SS tables.

This table was a copy of Recel's Criterium 75, but its rules are different.
They are also different than the rules in the other Recel tables Criterium 80 and Criterium 2000.
The rules are explained in the table info.

Unexpected and much appreciated. Read the table topic and I was at first sure that this was the remake of the Criterium 77 I had already, guess I was wrong, and it is time to read some table rules :)

Thank you Halen, Editoy, Carlos and of course Juan.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Curious. Could it be that the db2s should be on 7 digits ? Reason for asking is that once I rolled the game. GC is still tracked as the rolled over score without any other indicators.

thanks guys,
excellent work, this it`s a nice and funny table,
is similar to the version of criterium 75 of the manufacturer "petaco recel", with variation of the rules in the way of pointing the end of the ball bonuses and the existence of the upper right and left cymbals,
It is also new the plug that is between the flippers and the pinball petaco recel it`s electromechanical,

Only today i have noticed that in the backglass the "CanPlay" lamps are set as "PlayerUp" lamps, so they change with the "Player Up" status.

Just change them to "CanPlay" and it will work correctly.

It looks like this table have been updated to V4, and no message from JP. :D

And it look like we forgot to give the DOF config to JP, we are playing this table with DOF since january with Foxyt...

I'll update the DOF to the V4 tonight.

I updated the DOF, but I couldn't get the solenoids to work.
I'm forgetting something?

What do you mean by "updating the DOF" ?

You're speaking about the config tool or do you speak about the script of the table ?

edit : it was impossible that the DOF worked -> no correct name between table and config tool ;)

I'm working with arngrim to correct it and working on the script to add all the functions.

edit 2 : DOF send to JP ! :)

Thanks jp, I love the table with the 3 captive balls, very unusual !

Be patient for the DOF, Arngrim need to update the rom name in the config-tool,  so it's normal if  the dof is not working today.

Édit : DOF is published now and should be working.
