8.1: Default settings are now with no music, table sounds only.

       If you want to be able to listen to your mp3 files when you play this table, you have to open the script and do the following :

       UnComment Lines from 1967 to 1988

       Line 1967 : Change ->  Const myMusicFolder ="THE PATH TO YOUR MUSIC FOLDER"  

       to, example :  -> Const myMusicFolder ="c:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Music\Accept" (the name of the directory that has YOUR mp3 files)

       UnComment Lines 86 and 87 to add the commands to catch the right and left Magna Keys in the KeyDown function

       In addition, you can UnComment the Line 297 in the Table1_Init sub to start music when you launch the table

8.0: Updated lighting for VP10.8 (no more sunglasses needed !) Thanks to JP Salas for his help !

       You can now listen to music using MagnaSave buttons (CAB) or CTRL keys (PC), RIGHT (launch music or next track), LEFT (stop music).

       You just have to create an "Accept" folder in VPinball -> Music and put your mp3 files inside.

       I did a mix of "JP Salas" and "HiRez00" methods.

       I also added a new ball sent to me by "me337"
 
 
1.2: reworked shooter lane ramp (at the top)
 
1.1: Removed mp3 files and lowered lighting intensity at the top of playfield

If you want to listen to music when playing this table, just import your own mp3 files into your VPinball / Music folder

Name them as follows: Accept_01, Accept_02, and so on, and then, open the script and uncomment lines from 82 to 115

There are 24 lines for songs in the script, but you can remove some of them or add new ones, so don't forget to change quantity, Line 110 [musicNum = (musicNum + 1) mod XX]
 
 
 
1.0: Here is an original table about the German Heavy Metal band "ACCEPT" (you'll find all the files in the download, Table, B2S Backglass, Music files, Rules and Backdrops)

I used the table "ALGAR" from Thalamus and Kalavera and Kalavera's B2S Backglass as a starting point,  so, big thanks to them for their permission to use their work

So, you need to use the ROM "algar_l1" to run this table

I changed the location of every element and added wire ramps, but the rules remain almost the same

BALLS TO THE WALL replaces THE CHAMBER

RUSSIAN ROULETTE replaces RIVER STYX, but, each time, you have to reach the LEFT hole first, and then the RIGHT hole without the ball hitting any other element of the table to score the 2X value

METAL HEART replaces Extra-ball

Here are the new rules (you also can find them with the table file, and in Table / Table Info, and, of course, on the apron) :

Making 1-2-3-4 Advances X Value from 2X - 5X.

Making Either Bank of 3 Drop Targets Lites RUSSIAN and ROULETTE
Loops Shoots To Score 2X Value of Loop Shoot.

Making Six Flashing Drop Targets Awards 10,000 to 100,000 Value.

Making Six Flashing Drop Targets When 100,000 Lamp is Lit,
Lites Top Eject for Possible - METAL HEART

RUSSIAN and ROULETTE Loops Shoots Increase in Value
from 10,000 - 60,000. At 60,000 RUSSIAN and ROULETTE
Loops Shoots Lite Outlanes Which Alternate for Possible SPECIAL.

Driving Captive Balls Against BALLS TO THE WALL Targets
Scores Highest Flashing Values and Lights Ball Shooter Lanes
to Score 50,000 and to Release Balls in BALLS TO THE WALL Lanes.

Sript options :

If you want to change sounds volumes, it's from lines 15 to 32 in the script

The artwork of the table is based on the five albums "Breaker", "Restless & Wild", "Balls to the Wall", "Metal Heart" and "Russian Roulette"

The band is : Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Wolf Hoffmann (guitar), Peter Baltes (bass guitar), Stefan Kaufmann (Drums), Jörg Fischer (guitar), and Hermann Frank (guitar) - sometimes

Hope Accept fans will like this table (they will find no other ! :) ), and perhaps those who didn't know this band and don't listen to this kind of music too !

Heavy Metal - Accept - great table updates!

 

Unfortunately I have a problem : A lot of lights are flashing no matter what goal I hit.

Must be like that? Or do I have to set something else?

I don't like it when the table is always blinking. Excuse me the table should blink when I hit certain targets.
 
Or should it be so?

Haggi, It's normal, these lights are flashing all the time

 

But Flashers are on Layer 4, and you can set Intensity, Fade Speed (Up & Down), and Color (if you find it's too red)

Sorry, new to all this - how to 'uncomment'  a line?   I've replaced the mp3 with my own, renamed them appropriately in the code, and updated mod XX to the correct number of mp3's but can't figure out how to 'uncomment' the lines to have the music turn on.   Any advice/help?

hello, did everything and was working fine but after upgrading to 10.7 and vpinmame, music no longer plays in the back ground. any idea please?

Im so sorry. i must of re loaded the table and forgot to uncomment the script. :P  working.

When I try to enable music It closes and then highlights this line in red.

I put them in the /music folder named as they are there.

I followed the instructions but the music won't play.

Thanks a lot. Thanks to this explanation I have been able to play the songs that I have just put on the fantastic table.
I would like to know what commands should be put and where exactly so that the songs could be passed with the magnasave right and left, and thus be able to pass them and listen to them all. And also how to make them sound and not stop when the balls sneak in. Thanks.

That would perhaps be a question better posed as a new general post rather than the table's support thread
as it entails learning to code tables somewhat

And isnt within the author's intention of how he designed the table to work, so not really a support thing
but a general learning thing


If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Hi, I just uploaded version 8.0 with new lighting for VP10.8 (no more sunglasses needed !)

 

The B2S file is now in a separate download.

 

You can now listen to music using MagnaSave buttons (CAB) or CTRL keys (PC), RIGHT (launch music or next track), LEFT (stop music).

You just have to create an "Accept" folder in VPinball -> Music and put your mp3 files inside.
