Javier
CyberPez
DStruct
Manufacturer: Data East
Year: 1990
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Mod Based in King Kong 1990 Data East recreate for Dazz vp9 and gtxjoe VPX

Special thanks to:
Dazz creating the King Kong WIP on VP9 and asking me to help with scripting the table. The two left ramps proved to be almost impossible to implement with VP9 and Physmod. With VPX, it was finally possible :)
DStruct for sharing the FP resources
Wildman for the Kong backglass
Arngrim for DOF support
Toxie and Fuzzel for VPX

Cheers, Javier..

Thanks for sharing this and I believe the upper right flipper should be "king" sized as seen here from ipdb :)

Thank you !  :dblthumb:

- Only issue I have so far is ball can get stuck on top of the post right below the orange "ONE MILLION" triangle (it takes a fairly substantial nudge to knock it loose).

After playing quite a few games I also have had balls get hung up at the same spot

I threw the ball on the left ramp and something bounced the ball behind the left targets.

Excellent table, thanks!

Thanks for a great looking table.

Any idea when the update will be coming & will it be for both the upper right flipper & the ball getting stuck?

Soon, and yes, and more.  Sorry I've been holding this up.  But not too sorry, as it's shaping up great.

I can assure you that the delay of the update will be worth it.  :dblthumb:

I've hold back playing the previous version because I knew quite early that this update was on its way. Expect it to be given hours of play today.

Thank you CyberPez and Javier !

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I have a question... the high slope silver ramp on the top left, is it possible to shot the ball onto it at all ? I can't shot the ball in there it always goes on top and returns, never goes the full ramp.

Luk

To get it over the left Ramp, you Need a directly Flipper Shoot with a down-rolling Ball, to get more Ball Speed ...

Great Update and a very nice Table, thanks !

1.02 throws several balls out at once and then crashes with the script popping up on top of the PF.

I am up to date on all software (including latest 10.6 beta).

Must have played 30 games. One lost ball from the lock shot, no idea where it went. No other problems to report. All up to date here as well.
