Groni, once again you have outdone yourself. This table looks and plays great. I have played 2 games so far and felt compelled to post a comment. Like all of your tables, it is so well optimized that I can play w/ hw rendering on and have no slowdowns during animations and multi-ball, this is not the case with some tables on my system (I have a 256mb video card - need to upgrade for vp!).

I love the physics, the fading lights, and the way your trolls click and animate when hit. I also like the ramp placements. I like it all and will probably be playing this off and on all day.

One very minor issue is that the roll-over shield lights cannot be seen above the bumpers for the skill shot/bonus multipliers, perhaps this could be remedied with lights on the backboard in a future revision?

One other thing is that once I blasted a shot really hard into merlin and it rolled out to the right side without tripping the drop hole (and it was lit), the shot was pretty hard and maybe this can happen on a real machine as well, so it may not really be an issue.

Thanks a million for creating this nearly perfect work of art and sharing it with us all. I am going back to it now. Have a great day day, I know I will smile.gif

Groni, another thing I found ...
The ball holds on the damsel ramp and you will accumulate many points in the castle door. Please see the picture you will understand ...

Two things.

1) The backdrop. I attached the 1024 version here for us ATI guys.

2) The dragon. It's obscuring the multiplier rollovers, so I can't accurately work up my bonus multiplier. I don't know if that was intended, but lights on the backbox would be very much appreciated.

Otherwise it's pretty much perfect. Didn't notice anything else.

The McD

EDIT: 'Kay, I lied. There's one more thing I noticed. During Multiball, I managed to get a ball stuck in the Catapult. It just sat there. No nudging could get it free, but a ball search took care of things.

Your rulesheet process is really causing problems for me and my virus protection/firewall. The first time it ran, I didn't have the proper ROM, and it locked up my system.

Overall, a great recreation, though I agree with McD about the rollovers, and it may be a bit too easy.

Hey

Ok the ballstuck problem on the damsel ramp is new to me. I will fix this

The Bonus Multiplier Lights I just forgot. I wanted to add them on the Backboard, just like on JP´s table.

The Catapult stuck I will also check.

I will release an update as soon as possible.

I agree on it maybe being a bit too easy. I managed to get a Super Jackpot on my first ball of play. That shouldn't happen.

And I tried out the rulesheet thingy. I pressed "R", nothing happened. Pressed it again. Nothing. Pressed it about seven times. Crash and Bluescreen. I believe I'm going to stay away from rules now.
