Hello Everyone,

We're almost done with our project. However, we're trying to figure out how future pinball talks to the Sansmart to fire our contactors. We don't know how to setup Direct Output frame work.

FP on its own does not drive toys, but its easily done.

1. Setup the Direct Output Framework (DOF) and get it all working in VPX

2. Add DOFLinx along with FP tables that support DOFLinx connections.

There are some tutorial posts on this site.  I think they are in the DOFLinx forum - at work at present so a bit hard to check and link to them.

You need to have B2S server installed first. If you installed VPX 10.5 All in One Installer, then that should be good. Then you need to install DOF R3++:

Then after that is installed...you need to install DOFLinx and get that working with FP and your Sainsmart:

Then the only tables that will work with your sainsmart in FP are tables that have DOFLinx support added in.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for the information. We were about to pull our hair out! I'll post pics of our progress really soon!
