Here's a video demo of my new Masters of the Universe (VPX) PuP-Pack. I went beyond my original Mastered mod for the FP table! This PuP-Pack features an Underlay layer for the sky that will change video effects for each MB mode as well strike lightning when you hit your flippers. The castle's eyes will change colour for each MB mode and other events. The center videos play action from events throughout the entire game. All of this is covered by an Overlay layer of Castle Grayskull. This all makes for a stellar combination!

The original (stunning) Castle Grayskull image was made by Ankit Bhatnagar.

The modified image was edited by Tarcisio Caleiro.

The Visual Pinball X conversion (of Rom's excellent Future Pinball original table) was converted by randr.

Pinup Player (the software that plays the active video backglass) was created by Nailbuster.

PuP-Pack was created by: TerryRed.

I am having trouble getting this pack to work properly. The backglass loads and runs to the end of the first loop and then Pinupdisplay freezes and is unresponsive.  It does the same thing if I load it in the pinup pack test app.  Any suggestions as to what I should look for?

Try v2.2.8 32-bit of VLC media player. The 3.x revision and Pinup Player don't get along at all.

Like jferio mentioned. Make sure you only have VLC 32 bit 2.2.8 version installed, and be sure it didn't update itself.

That,'s the version I'm using and it hasn't updated.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I am running Windows 10 64 bit.

Try turning off the "eyes" (screen 8) for the pack using the PuP-Pack Editor and see if that helps.

A couple of people had an issue with that pup screen (they must not be setup correctly somehow)...and that will cause an issue.

It comes down to probably not having ALL your PuP screens setup correctly or rotated, as these Packs use those screens for now. 1.3.8 PuP (not released yet) allows for screens 11 and higher to be used for PuP-Packs (so they wont interfere with Popper screens).

A new "full gameplay" video of me playing randr's VPX conversion of Masters of the Universe in my cabinet running my new PuP-Pack with the "Text on Topper" option, as well as my DOF and addressable led effects for the table. I recorded this using a dollar store "bendy" cell phone clip and my cell phone. Works pretty good!

How do you adjust volume on this table? More specifically the ongoing He-man music it's way too loud!

Const VolBump   = 1    ' Bumpers volume.
Const VolGates  = 1    ' Gates volume.
Const VolMetal  = 1    ' Metals volume.
Const VolRH     = 1    ' Rubber hits volume.
Const VolPo     = 1    ' Rubber posts volume.
Const VolPi     = 1    ' Rubber pins volume.
Const VolTarg   = 1    ' Targets volume.
Const VolKick   = 1    ' Kicker volume.
Const VolSpin   = .25  ' Spinners volume.
Const VolFlip   = 1    ' Flipper volume.
Const VolSling  = 2    ' SlingShot volume.
Const VolHeman  = .25    ' Heman volume.
Const VolRamp   = 1    ' Ramphit volume.

Already tried this in the script and it has no effect.

Hi, were can I download the pup pack?

It's no longer available, it went away with vpinball, as did the table it would have worked with.

Hello Terry. How you doing? I know your busy with the Star wars PinEvent v2, but have a quick question. Just wondering if this is one of those forbidden tables we aren't allowed to have? I have your FP table, but was really looking for the VPX version with pup pack and cant seem to find it anywhere. Did it ever release? I see your youtube videos with comments turned off and they say demo. I love your work and you pup packs are amazing. Would really like this for my 3 screen setup. Thank you. :)

The VPX conversion was originally posted at VPinball by randr.

It hasn't been reuploaded ever since, and there's no point in me reuploading the pup-pack for a table no longer available.

That makes me sad. I have your future pinball version, but I love pup packs. Lol. Maybe we will get lucky and you'll turn this into a pinevent v2 table. I know you got your hands full, but MOTU has a special place in my heart. My fav growing up. Thanks again.

Hello everyone.

First of all I want to thank TerryRed for making the original table in FP, I love his table.

Second, thanks to Randr for converting him to VPX. Very good conversion of him.

Third, thanks to the entire VPX community for keeping the spirit of this table alive. I hope that this content is shared and disseminated enough so that it does not fall into oblivion again.

The content of the Pup-Pack had long been considered lost, for the reasons that we already know:

Despite the fact that it is no longer possible to access the content in its original location, an unknown backup has remained on Archive.org, and it is the one that I share with the entire community.

Last modified Size
17-Sep-2020 11:07 620.3M

Includes 2 versions:
-Text on BG
-No Text on BG

The table version is beta 0_9 and 0_9a .vpx

Here you can access the complete Pup-Pack (all in one) together with this table:

Look for this entry:
Master of the Universe (randr)(Beta 0.9a)[VPX05][FS+DOF TerryRed][FSS Thalamus][FP Conversion].zip (View Contents) 17-Sep-2020 11:07 620.3 MB

At the end of May, I consulted with Noah Fentz by private message if sharing this information violated any type of Copyright Rights or if it went against the rules of the forum or the page. Since the .zip itself includes, in addition to the original Pup Pack, mp3 with the original music, etc. Although everything is located outside of here. I think you must be very busy and despite the fact that I have not received a response, and a reasonable amount of time has passed, I have decided to share the information.

I think that knowing this information will make many users happy.

Greetings to all.
