I imagine this has been discussed on here before but I wasn't able to dig up a thread.

Let's say I want to transfer my setup to another PC...will certain things have to be redone? I know I can transfer tables, backglasses (I'm running on a cab), and roms but can I also transfer the VP and VPinMAME exes or should I do a fresh install using the all-in-one installer?

Also, what about DMD placements, backglass settings (let's say I switched a backglass to simple LED's and bumped up the frame skips for better table performance), etc. Will those settings come over or are they stored in the registry of each machine?

Basically, I'm looking for the easiest way to clone my setup to another PC and I'm just trying to figure out what parts I will have to do manually.

Thanks All!

Backup the VP folder
Backup PinballX folder
Backup the registry settings for VP
Backup the registry setting for Vpinmame

On new PC
install All in one VPX installer
Install PinballX and LAV codec
Restore the above backup items

Details on registry stuff here
