Another great table from you JP and thank you Siggi for providing great images for the table. I remember playing this table in VP9 but as a VPX it will be a table to revisit time and time again. Love it !

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

JP, i tried the Shaker Function, is it possible to "shake" the Table a bit smoother ?

I think it all depends on your settings. The nudge is set at 1, which is the minimal shake. This shake does not create a tilt, it is only for the screen.

Now, the part of how much it shakes the screen depends on the settings you have in the video options:

[attachment=28469:visual nudge strength.JPG]

The default value is 0.02, which gives a really visual shake when you nudge the table. Normally I set mine to 0.002, which gives just a nice visual effect when nudging. But for the shaker motor I should set this value to 0.0015.

This is a global value, so it will affect all the tables. But 0.0015 is a nice value also for the visual effect when nudging.

UPDATE 1.0.1 and a MOD from Draifet:

my 1.0.1 just includes a missing screw and a change in the material of the dome flashers, so they look more plastics and less metal :)

But the MOD from Draifet includes all these things:

-Added some missing screws
-Helicopter plastic modified
-Modified playfield image (bottom lights and letters)
-Changed the bumpers and flashers
-Ball shadow
-Playfield shadow
-Some other small changes

So if you don't use Ambient Occlusion (VPX own shadow system) then this MOD from Draifet is something for you :)

Thanks JP, in my opinion your tables are always pure pieces of art, without all the bells and whistles from other few recent releases, but with a nice clean aspect, like an invaluable huge rough diamond, and u are one of the most self-sufficient VPX designers for sure, can't believe how fast and general knowledge of this hobbie u have.

Thanks for uploading my mod, probably it don't deserves that lavel but I hope u enjoy the small additions.

UPDATE:

1.0.2 Updated 21.08.2018
- changed the droptargets to legacy mode, so a hit to the sides will also register as a hit, as the left droptargets were very difficult to drop.

After playing the table, I found that those left droptargets were just too hard to hit with a direct hit, since they are rotated almost a 90 degrees, so I enabled the "legacy" mode were a hit to the sides will also register, this way it gets less frustrated to hit them :)

I have also updated the MOD by Draifet, if you prefer a darker version of the table.

Hmm. I feel I need to say something about legacy mode and Bally's. I've heard time and time again Bowen saying that hitting especially Bally targets is a pain. They don't drop. But, ok - this is a game emulation and games should be fun. I'll just put them back locally  :db:
