Stern table from 1980. Inspired from a number of previous versions, I decided to make a version for VPX using a really nice playfield that has been floating around. I have taken it about as far as i can. My goal was to make the play hard enough to be similar to a real version. Primarily built on my desktop in landscape mode. Tested it in portrait mode like for a pin cab. It works, but the view seems a bit skewed, looking larger on the top end.

Things I wanted to do but was not able to:

Better plastics images. There is a machine here in town I am able to play, but was unable to get usable pictures from it as I was unable to get it without the top glass and light reflections from the room.

The metal spring along the right side just above the plunger. Was able to create an animated version using walls, but not able to using ramps. Very frustrating. In the end it works, but not clear why it won't work with ramps which seems to look better.

good version; the special right corridor seems a bit hard to reach (maybe like real machine), loops are fine. Thanks

Glad you made it, looks great. It is too cool of a layout not to have a nice version for VPX. Love the upper loop. I think the early 80' was the last of the "real" pinball machines, before they became marketing tools for some movie, and still had an open playfield. Glad to see people are liking it.

There will always be duplicate tables. It it wasn't then JP and other authors, wouldn't have posted that their work is open for the community to use.

It's fun to see what different people come up with. I have a Seawitch build in the works, too. It's like going from arcade to arcade. Same game but set up is totally different.

Of Course, you are right, i meant more: double in 1-2 Days, but ok.

Always i try to set "the Best" - and with the Best, i mean good Images, PF, and so on - to set it on my first Table for this, on PinballX,

and of Course, Keep more than 1 in Folders ... mostly 2 Versions, as in this Case.

I must say this is really good! Your first table? If, then even better job.

No, I did some tables in FP. Freedom, Cleopatra, Volly, Fathom, helped with audio stuff on bride of pinbot. Fathom was challenging as you had to program all of it, no ROMs. I am so impressed with what has happened with VPX. Truly some great games have come out in the last year, with great graphics and the feel is really good. I always like doing games that were unique in some way, so Seawitch fit that with that loop at the top. I have a version of Volly from Gottlieb around. I was inspired by Fast Draw. Never was a big fan of Gottlieb tables, but the recent version of Fast Draw played so nicely, I found it really fun to play.

I was thinking recently about how feasible it would be to remake some of Sphere's games for VPX. Not sure if he is OK with that, or if he cares. Also not sure how easy it would be porting from FP to VP. If the code can be used with minor tweaks, then it might be possible. Just an idea I had.

Really glad people are enjoying the table. Happy to share after getting to play so many great tables from others.

getting vpinmame error and stern script error. it says stern.vbs 3.2 or higher is required. I downloaded the latest script set to be sure and stern.vbs is there. WTH? and I'm running vpinmame 3.3 which should be the latest. Up until this table, anytime I have gotten these errors, just re-downloading fixed it by no dice this time. I have already done a clean all in one install into a clean new folder FYI. This one has me stumped.

And the picture perfect version that Bord made ? And I don't think I've seen you respond directly to the question about turning antivirus software off.
