Based on the Bally table from 1991.

Thanks to all from whom I borrowed some 3D objects: fuzzel (from his MOD of my VP9 table) and Francisco666 (FP table).

The cosmic cottage is not a 3D object, it is made of simple walls VP can do much more than you think

Also thanks to Strangeleo72 for the images of the real table.
 
I have included in the table the image for the yellow flippers, in case you prefer that color to the red one.
 
You all know this table, so just play it a little and if you find something missing or a bug then just write it in the support thread I made the table in 10 days, so don't expect a new "whitewater"
Anyway, if you have better FS settings for a cabinet just write them also in the thread.
 
Some funny notes:
- take a look at the dummy when shaking/dancing. That arms & legs animation is done using a captive ball inside a wall
- the bumper animation is done with flippers
- all the lightning is done with VPX lights and only a few flashers.
- the transparent DMD in the desktop mode is done using flashers.

Thanks JP, I missed a lot this table till now, very nice. I only played 5 min, but on first launch the ball get stuck on the upper part of the loop, the screw is not collidable but I think that the base of the gate is the problem.

Awesome table!!!  Great job.  My only issue is a bunch of ball stutter, tried with the latest backglass.  I'm on version 10.4.  Turned everything down on backglass.  It's the backglass, tried older one, same thing.  This is so much better than the VP9.

Koolywiz, try turning off playfield reflections in the editor and see if that helps with stutter.

Is it just me? But the speech coming through is very poor quality and near impossible to understand. Was it this way on the real thing? Maybe some kind of VPM emulation issue?

The rom sounds are “crunchy” for me too, wrd. Whitewater rom is actually same for me. Has been since VP9.

This one plays great, JP. Nice job with lighting too. Played for two hours tonight.

Yes, the speech sounds bad, but I don't remember how it was before. I remember about 12 years ago that I thought all those vpinmame sounds sounded horrible There has been many improvements on the sounds of many tables since those days.

 

Yes, the animations were a little tricky to make, but I didn't want to make crazy timers with too many counters.  What I'm going to change is the animation of the flat rocket at the top ramp. I think it simply shakes in the real table due to the ball jumping onto the ramp. I'll fix that later, let's see first if I have forgotten something
