I have a weird issue and I can't wrap my head around what is causing the problem.

I just upgraded my pc with a new ssd and graphics card in order to play VPX properly. I can, since Jurassic Park VPX runs perfect with all settings maxed out. The table finds the rom and Vpinmame runs perfectly.

I can't seem to get vpinmame running on all other tables I downloaded (afm, lotr 4k, totan 4k, terminator 2 chrome VPX). Always get the "machine terminated, can't find rom, check path" error when starting a table. I double checked everything, path is correct, rom is correct (and working fine with vpinmames Test option), the table script cGameName corresponds to the correct rom file. Everything has admin privileges. I even reinstalled VPX and the problem is still there. I can play the older vp9 tables with the same roms just fine, no problems. The strange thing is I can run JP VPX just fine...

Been at this for 2 days now and no luck. I appreciate any thoughts or input!

Do you have try the All-In-One-Installer? If not, do so.

when you upgraded to a SSD did you clone the old one to the new one?

or did you install everything on the new SSD with fresh install of programs?

also, i had the same issue with vp saying it cant find the rom path ect.  this mostly happend with large roms like the twd on vp9, but when i went to vpx everything worked.

this was tested with the editor, are you testing with the editor

Yes I used the all in one installer.

And yes I cloned the whole system to my ssd. The old HDD serves as a way to backup (the now old system files still reside there).

This ssd cloned system initially did give me an issue when PinballX frontend loaded, it couldn't launch tables and gave me a weird error (NOT the rom not foud one) - I fixed this by launching a table without PinballX with every version of Visual Pinball I have installed - everything works fine again.

I only installed JP VPX to try if VPX worked fine with the new graphics card before cloning the system.
And yes testing with the Editor.

ok, to narrow down if its the new graphics card with drivers,

or migrating over the files to the new SSD,

i would swap the old hdd into your system and see if everything works ok, should be just plug and play,  possibly update to allow new graphics card to work.

if it does work fine then its something maybe with the graphics card,

if not, then something didnt get cloned properly.

Run the setup.exe in VPinmame again and see, if it changes something.

Fixed the problem! Turns out the option Force Exclusive Fullscreen is causing these issues, turned it off, boom all tables load fine.

Found this thread: http://vpinball.com/...oad-vpx-tables/

I do now have new issues of smaller concern, for some roms the music is disabled all of a sudden? Tried editing the volume through the rom itself but that didn't help (I can hear sound effects fine).

Also some b2s backglasses won't load? Do I need VPX specific b2s files?

B2S work on all VP. There are no VPX specific b2s
