I have tried every browser I can think of, and I am still unable to download anything from this site :(. I am running windows 10 via bootcamp on a mac and it is the only computer that I own currently. Is there an archive site of downloads anywhere? I would like to have a couple of desktop tables to play while I build an actual machine. I know I'll need to get another computer for the guts of the new cabinet, but I haven't ordered any parts for it yet (and wasn't planning on it for a while).

Any suggestions or workarounds?

Why don't you tell us the browser and the steps you take and the error you get, so we can help you.

I don't know how anyone can give you some tables if you can't even download files from a website :)

Are you getting any error messages?

I'm leaning toward a router firewall issue, but need more info.

I've used chrome, Firefox, and i.e. - I click on the "download" button, this brings up a page that says my file is ready to download. I click "agree and download", this brings up a page that states my files are available below. I click the "download" button on this page - "sorry, we couldn't find that.

"An internal error has occurred. Please contact an administrator"

Multiple files using the three browsers listed with the same results. I'm not behind a firewall, but I am on satellite internet. Windows defender is completely off

Let me amend that - if there is a firewall, I have no working knowledge of it (I am NOT a computer guru)

I run windows 10 on a Mac and works fine. Did you try in Mac OS to download? Then if that works well just copy the download to boot camp partition until you figure out the windows issue.

I have had the same issue with my internet connection as well.  I am on satellite as well.  I have tried everything.  However.  I have found a work around but not a fix.  I use the same computer but I am connecting to the internet through my phones hotspot.  That has led me to the following thoughts I just don't know how to fix.

1.  I am sure it is not them computer i am using in anyway.  It is not browser cache or firewall or ip address of computer.

2.  Could be the router but I have reset to factory, I have turned off all firewall options.  Do not believe it is router related.

3.  Could be the ip address of our service that is being blocked by vpforums?

4.  Could be the ip address of vp forums being blocked by service?  (I am on DishNet)

GunnyMose, if you can try the mobile hot spot.  Maybe between your info and mine they can tell us what is going on.

I cannot, in order to have "unlimited internet" on my phone with AT&T, I cannot utilize my phone as a hotspot.  I'm on a hughesnet dish out here in my office.  I have not had issues with anything else that I can recall.  I guess I can try and download from another site...just have to see if i can find any desktop tables on one of the others.

I forgot to mention.  If I log into the sight at my work it works just fine as well so it wasn't the username being blocked in any way.  I do not have any other issues on this or any other sites as well.  HughesNet and DishNet are really just the same sat service with different branding and prices so I guess it could still be something with that.

I have talked to the admin as well. He suggested the browser cache, router issues but that was abo

If I find some time tomorrow, I'm going to call Hughes and see if it's on their end. The customer service has been pretty good this far

Ok, I just spent about an hour on the phone with Hughesnet tech support.  No joy.  She kept insisting that they don't block anyone, she turned on/off several things like the "web accelerator", we took my wifi router out of the loop...nothing.  Sure am glad I pay in excess of $125 a month to NOT be able to download things.

So, I have one other thought. Can someone recommend another site that hosts an identical copy of ANY of the downloads here? I'm not trying to abandon ship...but if I can't download anything I'm going to be mighty upset.

Maybe someday a cable company will make it out here in the boonies where I live.

Just search visual pinball in google. Many sites but cannot provide links this site won't allow other sites to be posted here.
Will be interesting to here if you can download off the other sites then we know it's isolated issue and not your provider. Keep us updated

I have 40 gigs of downloads (I think) before I get throttled. To be honest, I don't know what the speed is. It's a business plan though, it's in my office so I can email cabinet plans to customers. But I have downloaded games and I watch YouTube on it a lot on the weekends. My billing cycle (and data cap) just reset yesterday, so there shouldn't be any issues with that at least.

I am able to download through a couple of other sites. I haven't gotten anything to work yet since those sites aren't very well organized and I can't seem to find the roms for the tables i snagged.  So, I can confirm that it is NOT the file type, and (according to "tech support") not my service provider...I still think its my service provider.  Now to try and get anything running.  The best part is, this is just me trying to figure out what the hell i'm doing before I get the actual parts in to build my cabinet.  I'm a glutton for punishment ;)

I gotcha.  I believe I have the entire Theater of Magic downloaded, I know to put the tables in the "table" folder and the roms in the "roms" folder...the roms are buried inside of the .zip (like 4 levels buried).  I know also that the roms are supposed to remain zipped, so I'm about to find out if i need to move them forward or if they can stay buried.

Yay, I have a table I can open up and hear coins dropping.  I'm finally making progress!  I can't get the game to actually start, but i'm gonna savor this victory for a bit.  I got a message about the backglass, so I assume there is a file I need to move to fix that..perhaps that's why it won't let me start.

Edit - I got it to start and actually played a game!  I'll fool around with the backglass stuff later, I have some painting to do on our remodel.

I actually ordered Hughes Net about 6 or 7 years ago, cost me about 500 bucks to have them come out and install. After the first day of service, I found out that I could only download 1 GB per day or less I think. When you go over the limit, your internet speed is dropped to slower than dial up, and you are unable to download anything.

I called them that very day and told them to come get there crap that day, and they told me I had 3 weeks trial, that I should see how I like it in 3 weeks and then send it back.

Well after 2 and a half weeks, I called again for them to take there crap back. Well they informed me that I only had a week trial and that I would have to pay full years contract to get out of there service. They asked if i would like them to bill my bank account. I said I would call them back. I went straight to bank and shut that card off!! Then I called them back, and when we got to the part where they said should we charge your bank account, I said "YOU CAN TRY YOU LYING BASTARDS" But My card is shut off!!

So that was my experience with Hughes Net.

They have probably shut off your downloads because you went over there limit. (You are sharing a sattelite with millions of customers. Is why they say they do this.)

Carry on.

GunnyMose,  I think I finally got it figured out.  If you go to your control center for your Hughes modem there is a little grey "i" in the upper right corner.   Click this.

Then Click web acceleration and turn it off.  This should now let you download from this website.  You will have to turn this off then back on.  You will want this on all the time as it does speed up browsing.
