Two tables for the Price of one
 
An Original table from 1981;  silly question you might be asking yourself.
 
in 1981  the PPPA was going to have a contest for "Professional Pinball Players",  someone had the idea of making a new skin for Ballys Eight Ball.
 
the contest never took place,  but now you get to play the digital version of the table

According to the IPDB, there were actually 5 different tables that had skins made for this (all Bally tables):

Professional III: Power Play  http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=4986

It also looks to me that all 5 versions used the same backglass.

if anyone can get me pictures of the tables,  I can easily complete the set.  The  only hard part is shaping the plastics,  I can do that form the original table plastics scans.

 

 

I followed the link to Strikes and Spares and found a very nice set of scanned plastics.

 

thanks to the features found on VPX and all the primitives available. I was able to complete this table in one day.

I would only need to build  Power Play in VPX

 

I started drawing the PF for the Strikes and Spares version,  but I don't know what text to add or what the plastics look like.

Challenger 2

Evel Knievel,  I'm updating the current VPX version.  Since I need clean plastic cuts.  I'm cutting new ones from the scans available @ IPD

Challenger 3

Power Play:   I redrew the PF based on Unclewilliys  Power Play (Physics 5) table.  We can drag and drop that Play-field image into this table and have a Power Play table once we find better plastic scans.

Forgive me for necroposting, but found this on an EBay listing.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/115098258288.  Perhaps that would help?

 

Also noticed that Destruk's VP8 version used said backglass.  So possibly he still has the source file?

Just fyi
Assassin32 isn't any longer interested in doing vp stuff. He leaved the VP community and changed his interest to VR
