2.1: now all works fine for 2 and 3 Screen (just hide Grill) Wildman and Thalamus couldnt seen Gate Animation, but randr yes, and i also, but i use just 2 Screens ... and this Guys and Mark70 figured out, that this was a Problem with hidden Grill: Image resized, fixed - thanks to all.
 
Version 1.0 just have one Light Animation Step, new Version will be more Images (Acts, Characters, Bosses, and more) ... a.s.a.p. ...

Worked for me for just the 2 or maybe was it 3 first acts - then it kept the regular for the rest of the game. But, very nice idea STAT.

Thalamus, can you explain, i only reached Games up to Boss 3 ... and think all other Images should turn on/off too.
So you dont get Act 4 Image ?

Note: if you lost a Ball, all Images turn off, only the Main Image stay on,
You have to enter Boss/Act Modes again.

yes, I understand the rules of this table - I've played it all the way to the end and almost around again before it crashed with a script error. But, yes, I saw act1 - act2 changing. But, I don't think I ever saw act3 .. or maybe I did, I just cant remember. What I didn't get for sure was act4, I got distracted and needed to end the game. Will probably run it some rounds more - so I'll report back my findings if I have anything to add.

 

And you know - you could always ... just put a lot of gates around so the ball never drains, then you can debug quite easily yourself.

Thats strange, all Variables and B2S IDs are ok ...
 
Edit: Thalamus, i went to my Cab now, did a quick "Cheat Wall" in the middle, reached Act 4 and Diablo as Image too
But that Beast isnt easy to "kill" lol ... i think all runs fine here ... really wonder, why not at yours ...
I am sure, i ll get Act 5 and Boss - Image too ...
 
Edit2: i got all Images ... Scripts for B2S and directb2s is ok.

But got one "UltraDMD" Script Error ... maybe the same as you got, see Diablo-Thread ...

I just re-check. So, it starts with the normal image. I opened the b2s in designer and see there are some pics there that is never shown. I don't know this tool, so I try to explain my best. When act1 starts - the pic comes directly. No wall or nothing. This pic stays until act2 stars. Then I get again no wall but act2 directly. If I drain - normal pic "diablo pinball" is in front and if I then start act3 or better - it is static. I only see "diablo pinball" for the rest of the game. So, basically, I see 3 pictures all in all. "diablo pinball" at start, then "act1" and "act2" with no walls between.

 

So, yes - I never see the beasts ... except the start pic.

 

Weird - yes, I guess so. Do we have the same vpx ? I downloaded 1.0.1 this morning.

We should have the same, i just sent my Script to JP, just the Script was changed,
but be sure, it should be this (Script below) ...

And i dont use Beta, but that shouldnt be the Problem.

B2SSetData 20,1 - do the Gate down
B2SSetData 80,1 - move it up

B2SSetData bsnr, 1 - turn on the Images 1 to 10 ( Modes )

B2SSetData ao,0 = just turn off all Images, one (Mode) turn on, later

... thats all the Stuff - and for me, works fine.

That is weird - it is not the table script.
Guess I try to put some debug code into the table - the info you just provided me.

Yes, I've tried to replace script with yours. I also did a cheat just now. I do understand a little vbs so I added StartMode(4) to the add credit key. The DMD goes to the mode, but, no way can I get the BS2 to change.
I'll try to re-download your b2s once more - but, I really really doubt that is the problem.

Maybe I should get a copy of your b2sserver - those should be in vpinball\tables folder. Just zip them together.

Probably to late to test today though.

I am away now, but can provide it at the evening ... but its just the latest b2sserver and should be the same as you have ... really strange ...

Yes, I agree - but, lets just test it to be sure. I'll also try to disable the pindmd3 for the UltraDMD and see if that changes anything tonight.

When problems like this arise, I hate to not being able to solve them.

Thalamus, can you check your Script: there are some B2sOn ... can you rename it to: B2SOn ... ? Can you try that ( lower case s to upper case S ) ?

 

I have checked here all the Downloads, all are ok, except the one above ... i dont know, if it doesnt matter
