File Name: Time Warp Banana Flippers VP9x

File Submitter: GrayGhost

File Submitted: 16 Mar 2017

File Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Gilrock GrayGhost DesAngel TAB
Manufacturer: Williams
Year: 1979
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Special thanks to Gilrock for the excellent table and to DesAngel for the VP8 Banana flippers and TAB for the VP8 Disco fever table that had the flippers coded therein. Even though Time Warp is not my own table I have learned much from the experience. I hope all enjoys the new version or reversion I have made.  My first attempt to upload did not appear to work I hope this one works.

What to I need to change in the code to get the table to always start with Banana flippers and disable the message box, as I would like to add this table to my cab.

Thanks

This worked for me. Find these two lines...

FFFLIP=msgbox("Use Bannana Flippers?",4,"GAME OPTION")
FFFLIP=FFFLIP-6

Comment them out with the ' then add the following line directly below them...

FFFLIP=0

There's probably a better way but this worked in a pinch.

I guess I missed the email asking for permission.  Shouldn't this have been in the MODS section?

Did anyone ever come up to a solution for the flippers being too long? I love this table is plays awesome but if both flippers are held in the ball cant be drained. I find myself “cheating” too often knowing that it’s an option lol

I did change the flipper length and uploaded a different one, at least I think I did. The best thing to do though is to download the original that was done by Gilrock. It does not have the banana flippers but it is the original and I think he would like you to use his version of the table. I will be removing the table and back glass I modded as soon as I can find out how.
But thanks for asking about it.

Just a quick question, when you hold both your flippers in, is it impossible for the ball to drain? If not, can someone post their flipper settings?  This is for banana flippers.  I have tried to shorten them, but the ball just floats on air even when shortened.
