8.1: Enabled Mechanical Plunger in Plunger Physics Properties (this update is for CAB users).
 
       If you don't want to dowload this table again, you just have to select the Plunger, and check the square as below :
 

 
 
8.0: Updated to JP's VPX8 Physics Rev3.1 and added Flipper Subs + Real Time Flipper adjustments - by JLouLouLou & JPSalas 

       Added JP Salas' LUT Option (thanks also to Vogliadicane for LUT Images) and Cabinet Rails to User Options (F12)

      Added new ball.

      Added new Backdrop for "lucky" desktop users, and also replaced DMD by REELS. (Thanks to Kiwi for his help)

      If you want to be able to listen to your mp3 files when you play this table, you have to open the script and do the following :

      UnComment Lines from 1032 to 1053

      Line 1032 : Change ->  Const myMusicFolder ="THE PATH TO YOUR MUSIC FOLDER"  to, example :  -> Const myMusicFolder ="c:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Music\Penthouse" (the name of the directory that has your mp3 files).

      UnComment Lines 212 and 213 to add the commands to catch the right and left Magna Keys in the KeyDown function.

     In addition, you can UnComment the Line 161 in the Table1_Init sub to start music when you launch the table.

1.5: Removed mp3 files and reworked the backdrop image for desktop users

       If you want to listen to music when playing this table, just import your own mp3 files into your VPinball / Music folder

       Name them as follows: Penthouse01, Penthouse02, and so on, and then, open the script and uncomment lines from 57 to 74

       There are 9 lines for songs in the script, but you can remove some of them or add new ones, so don't forget to change quantity, Line 69 "mod X"
 
 
1.4: Thalamus improved directional sounds, big thanks to him (and also to the guy who told me someone should do a sound Mod of this table )

       You can now set the volumes in the script from line 21 to line 41

       And now the girls in the pool will laugh at you when the ball goes to drain !
 
      But if you don't like it, go to Table / Sound Manager, delete or rename "fx_drain" and then rename "fx_drain_old" to "fx_drain"
 
 
1.3: New backdrop and desktop settings and also new flippers and laneguard
 
       This table also use "FastFlips" tool, thanks to nFozzy and Toxie
 
       I think that flippers work better, so tell me !

It's my first attempt in VPX, and I hope you'll enjoy playing it as much I enjoyed doing it

There should be DOF extension by arngrim in the Script as he added it to the table "Harlem Globetrotters" from JPSalas

But tell me if something is missing in the Script and I'll ask to people who know (I have no cabinet)

For your information, you can find the original backdrop named "Penthouse VPX" (not approved by Miss World) in Table / Image Manager

 

No difference between 1.0 and 1.1 (except the backdrop)

Very nice batch, looks belle and plays hard. I did change the DT BD settings slightly here, with VPX there is no need to scale the X or Y for a 16:9 ratio display, just 1:1 is all that is needed and use a -Z offset to magnify the image. If you have a 16:10 ratio DT display say 1920x1200 for example then X Scale = 1 and Y Scale = 1.111111.

Is there a topic explaining how to add music (mp3) to a VPX table

 

What is to be added to the table and also to the script so that music can start when you launch the ball

 

and stop when the ball goes to drain

Look on the Dboy's Rolling Stones table, on top of the scripts there is the sub routine with the music tracks,
then search for "Drain", EndMusic stops the music when the ball goes down the drain.

That's what you have to put on top of the scripts after "Option Explicit" and "Randomize"

Is an example for 5 MP3 tracks, you can put how many tracks you want,
just the number after "mod" corresponds to the number of tracks, in this case is 5.
Instead of "my music" put the name of your MP3 tracks, is just one example.

 
Then look for "drain", you should find something like that,

inside the sub routines add "EndMusic".

Could it be a "DOF" problem ?

The VPX kickers work differently than VP9,

put a trigger in the launch output,

 

 

and changes the name of the BallRelease kicker with that trigger.

Something that I have noticed in the meantime that was testing the table,

the bumper lights are visible bulb, disable the checkbox "Show Mesh" (bumper1l, bumper2l, bumper3l),

the wire guides under the flippers make the ball fly because they are collidable (Primitive113, Primitive114, Primitive115), to me the ball it went over the apron..

How do I change the volume of the music & the background or chimes? I'd like to increase the music & decrease the chimes.
