I have the table loaded and working. Using VPX and the VPX release of AFM. I am pretty sure all my roms are right. The mechanical sounds are all there but the music and sound effects are not. I tried turing up the table volume inside the coin door as well as the sliders in the VPX window and even the mixer in Win 10. I don't know what else to check.  I did the sound test inside the coin door and still nothing.

 Please help.

BTW I did get Medieval Madness working fine so the issue is specific to the AFM game.

Thank You.

I tried some other roms and changed them in the config script. Works now.

I had the same problem and a different cause.

I have a Pimax headset and the sound settings were not optimal within the OS environment here.

That caused to have no music for a few Tables, but not for all.
Here ar the settings i got it work with:

- Go to the "Sound" Control panel (WIN+r, type "control", return)
- Select "Pimax P2NA"

- Click "Configuration" button

- Select 7.1 Sound

- Click "next"

- Disable all optional speakers (this is the important part i had activated before that caused the trouble)

- Click Next

- Those two options are activated here.

- Click next

- Click finish

Attack from Mars plays music after that here. I haven't tried other tables yet, but i'm optimistic.

There is possibility of corruption in rom file. I was having the same problem with working rom file, there was no music in the table. Redownloaded the same rom and music started working again.
