Thanks... now its ready for the cab.....

I just noticed something.... the plastics KEES used for the center target says 300.... I see now i should have made that 100... how is it scored in the table 300 or 100?

if its 300 what needs to be changed to 100?

IMG_2507.jpg

EDIT:

here's the replacement plastics and target.... just in case anyone wants them

ok... i found it... yeah its set to 300 and should be 100

line# 1127

'***		CenterTargets Handler		***

Sub Collection2_hit(idx)
	AddScore 300
	HoleValue

Yeah, I noticed that too. Not sure why he chose 300 for the scoring but I didn't change that since the plastic was "300". Could have been because he originally had 3 drop targets there.

Oh and if you want to modify the scoring to 100 points look for this routine at line 1126:

Sub Collection2_hit(idx)
 AddScore 300
 HoleValue
end sub

and change the addscore value to 100

Oldie but golden, very nice all involved, though I notice there seems to be no pop bumper ring animation, love that pointy people art.

Thanks!

Hello All,

I have good plastic images. The reason why I choose 300 points is to match the scores with the drop targets, so the total score and difficulty is then similar as with a moving target. Despite the help from others, I didn't manage to get a working moving target so far. I am still in the learning mode :)

I am improving my own scripts first with more structure and better overview like an electric schematic diagram, so later the script is a good template for future EM tables. I only need to concern then about the table rules and specific table scoring points.

A first example is now the Cabaret table of Williams of 1968.

I found also out there are some differences with ATI and NVidia GPU's, even some differences between NVidia GTX285 and 770, especially with the alpha blending, so I want to try to make it more compatible.

At the moment I don't know how to make the plastics semi transparent to get more effects from the playfield and backglass general illumination. One of my targets is to keep it as simple as possible.

About full screen, I pay no attention to it yet, since I don't have a cabinet for it.

Looks and plays great!  Thanks loserman and kees!  If I nudge (left or right) a few times using the Z or / key in desktop mode, I get an error on line 759 -     LeftSlingShot.isdropped=true   Any ideas?

You can comment these lines out or you can even delete it.

I found also some other mistakes.

sub addscore(points)
    if tilt=false then
    bell=0
    if points=10 or points=1 then
    matchnumb=matchnumb+1
    end if
    if matchnumb=10 then matchnumb=0
    end if

Cut the upper "end if" out. It should look like below.

if tilt=false then
bell=0
if points=10 or points=1 then
matchnumb=matchnumb+1
if matchnumb=10 then matchnumb=0
end if

Place and extra "end if" the the end of the sub routine

if score(currpl)=>replay3 and rep(currpl)=2 then
credit=credit+1
playsound "knocke"
credittxt.text=credit
rep(currpl)=3
playsound "click"
end if
end if
end sub

You should see now 2x "end if" at the end.

About disabeling the slingshots, I don't have a solution yet.  Now tyhe scoring and the bumpers are disabled.

In my next release of Bally Band Wagon, you see a much better tilt handling. Normally I don't nudge the tables.

Just downloaded, will give it a go tonight when I get home to see if it plays like it should. This is one of the tables we own. Anyone needing resources for this tables, just ask. The back glass we have is 100% and the playfield is about 65%.

Thanks Kees, loserman, HF, borg dog, and zany for this table!  great colloboration.  In desktop mode, when I nudge to the point of tilting, I get a 'null' error on line 774, which reads:  'LeftSlingShot.isdropped=true'.  Any ideas what is causing this?

Short version... open the editor and select the Leftslingshot and in the options box under state and physics click the box that says Can Drop.  Repeat for Rightslingshot.

next.. those are no longer in the table since it was converted to a moving target, at least not in the version of the table I have.  comment out (put apostrophe ' in front of line) or remove those three lines all together, there will be lines for droptarget3, droptarget2 and droptarget1 in a couple places in the script, none of them needed.

hauntfreaks, sorry for the late response, I am out of town on business, should be home in about a week or so.  I can definitely scan my plastics for you on my scanner, no problem.  My question is how would I scan the backglass?  Would like to help but my scanner is not nearly big enough for the backglass.

sounds great.....

you scan the BG with the cover off... in overlapping sections at least 25% overlap so it might take 9 scans to do the BG

this is how people scan the playfields as well... Borgdog is becoming a pro at it ;)

Sorry but I only have a small flat bed scanner.  I guess when you say scan it nine times, my small flatbed will do the job?  this is not a translite, but a painted piece of glass.
