Hello, It has been some time since I have been on here or worked on the pinball cab and lastnight, it was time to start once again so I cleaned all the dust off the pinball pc and fired it up and launched pinballx and got a message saying that the version installed is expired and to update, when I do that, is it going to mess up all my settings and file structure or is it just a quick, ready to go update? I didn't do it last night until I get a little feedback from the best out there so here I am. It has been about 6 months or so since I even tried it and forgot some stuff but i am sure it will come back to me as soon as I start messing around with it. Thanks for any input.

If it ain't broke, it's probably a good idea to take it apart anyway!

I just post here to hear myself type.

The thing I am worried about is I did the update on this pc which has no tables or anything on it except pinballx, and it wanted me to set up all the paths which there are none on here but the pinball pc is fully loaded with that stuff and I do not remember all the pathes so should I just hit enter at every question or dialougue box hoping that it already shows the setup paths. Now, I am going to sneak in that pc to see what is what in the hard drive before running the update. Then I am just going to do it.

Man, I hope this works.

OK, I just did the update and it looks as though it just updated the program, no changes were made. As far as I could tell, all my settings were already in the dialogue boxes on the set-up part, now a restart and a test....

Holy Sht! All is good!I wonder what is new in this update? OK a glitch in the screenres but I usually change 1 setting and run a table and then put the setting back, it had always done this and never knew why.

You sure you are not installing to and running from two different places?

PinballX does not have expiration dates any more and has not had them for a while, like years.

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways
