File Submitter: allknowing2012

Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1976
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

A "typical" Bally table of the era. Get the targets and hit the spinners. I highly suggest you play this in 5 ball mode. Use F6 to select the options.
With 5 ball mode the spinners and bumper points alternate. It is a challenging game to score big.

Score the upper kicker hole while lit for Double Bonus - bonus scoring is key to this game.

See the table info for the full Rules and Strategies.

This table was one of the cross-over tables where they made both EM and SS versions.

Thanks to VP9 authors for images/code ideas.
Thanks for FP authors and Hauntfreaks for their PF image.
Thanks to Arngrim & Hauntfreaks for their last minute checks and tweaks.

Enjoy!

Ha, not close at only 34,xxx, but I have noticed an issue with the table.  If I cradle the ball in the right flipper the ball sticks at the top of the flipper/ wire rail junction for quite some time.  Looking at the table there are 3 rails there, and the only collidable one has  a friction of 0.7, and seeing as the flipper is only 0.4 and the rubber on the sling is only 0.2 I think that may be the source of the issue.  In fact, changing that to 0.1 on object metal7 seems to take care of that issue. object metal19 on the left would appear to have the same settings.

Fun table though.  Keep working, only one more table to go.... well OK, there are lots, i'm trying to help :)

The rail probably needs a nudge up or over .. I like friction on the rails to slow the ball down and to avoid or reduce the tendency for it to roll upwards. I will upload a fix.

New version uploaded. Thank BorgDog for pointing that out. Tweak of the rail and friction along with raising the drop targets so they dont disappear when they are dropped.

I can't seem to get the flipper sound to trigger on this table.  is there a DOF setting to use plain rom sounds or sounds from the Sound manager list?  Even exchanging the sounds will not make them trigger.  Seem silent....

I changed the items in red in the script

Sub SolLFlipper(Enabled)
    If Enabled Then
             PlaySound SoundFX("FlipperUpleft",DOFContactors):LeftFlipper.RotateToEnd
         Else
             PlaySound SoundFX("FlipperDown",DOFContactors):LeftFlipper.RotateToStart
    End If
End Sub

Sub SolRFlipper(Enabled)
    If Enabled Then
             PlaySound SoundFX("FlipperUpright",DOFContactors):RightFlipper.RotateToEnd
    Else
             PlaySound SoundFX("FlipperDown",DOFContactors):RightFlipper.RotateToStart
