Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1979
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Mod of 2012 build with permission. New pf and plastics thanks to Google and eBay.
I wanted a Led Zep table but didn't want another music template table. Paragon seems to fit with the Hammer of the Gods side of LZ so that's where I went. If you dont want the music don't unzip music to music folder and there is an alternate backdrop you can select. Layback adjusted to a more widebody look. Testing and tweaking by Kiwi.

Nice!  Any reason you aren't converting your most recent mods to VPX?  Not a complaint, just an observation.

Also, the saucers on your playfield image are missing the kicker mechanism.  Do you plan to add that to the playfield image?

Thanks for making this update!  :dblthumb:

Thanks! I need a new video card, vpx isn't smooth for me. Hopefully this summer.
I forgot about the saucers once I started messing with the music. Got used to seeing them that way. So, yeah I can add that ;)

Well, why not just grab the stripped playfield and build it in VPX yourself?  The physics are better and most importantly, you don't need to worry (too much) about any photoshop trickery to get really nice lighting effects you would need to do in VP9.9.

Simply open the VP9.x version in VPX and then immediately save a new .VPX version - and don't forget to increment the version number in the file name every once in a while to make sure you have several backup copies and don't lose a lot of work in a crash.

Something like Paragon-VPX-wip-0001.vpx, then ...wip-0002.vpx, then ...wip003.vpx and so on every 10-15 minutes or so...

Lol...I wish I knew more about the inner workings of VP. I'd surely do it because I really like this table

Classic Playfields has a brand new release of Paragon plastics.  Try contacting them to see if they would mind if you used what they posted on the web to piece it together in PS?  They may even send you medium resolution artwork if you ask nice enough.

Great looking table and love the music!

There may be an easy answer for this, but is there a way to remove the marquee/"Led Zeppelin" text at the top of the playfield?  In VPX, I know how to resize the PF, but no sure how to do this in VP9.

Any help is appreciated!

If I select no image, the table is still the same size (leaves the top 1/4 of the playfield blank) where the Zeppelin image was.  If I resize it in the editor, I can't seem to get it looking quite right.

Any suggestions?
