Nevermind. I commented out the following line "vpmNudge.TiltObj = Array(l38, ,l39, l40, LeftSling, RightSling)" and the table loads now.

"I'm getting an 'mslingbump' error on launch."

In line 64 is the error.
Between 138 and 139 there is one "," too much.

Right click the DMD, "restore size" or something similar.

"Object doesn't support this property or method: Gorgar Max ball speed" - line 59

What should I change the max ball speed to? I've tried a few things and they didn't work. This is a favorite table of mine happy.gif

Oh crap never mind - I'm a dork; I was trying to play in vp8. Although now I have an error in line 0 saying I need a...mnbump I think it said. I'll try to take a look but scripts are not my friend sad.gif

i find the playfield too dark too.. the center where lies the demon is almost dark, shame because the playfield is so beautiful. But perhaps its only on my system.

Great work this taken apart.

ill update the table with the suggested code fix. thanks tab, I wasn't getting the error on my pc.
as far as the darkness of the table goes, that's how I prefer to play them, I like the feel that I am in a dark bar as that is where I normally play real tables. if you wish to brighten the table simply extract the 4 pf textures, open them in Photoshop and increase the exposure the same amount on each one. then reimport them back into the table. the same can be done with the plastics if you think they are too dark.

anyway, as I said in my other post, my tables are free to mod, and I appreciate all the comments.
thanks

Regardless the darknes the table looks excellent. Good work unclewilly!
One remark:
Flippers should be moved a bit down so the ball can move smoothly - at least LEFT (274,25 / 1654,375) RIGHT (587,8125 / 1654,375)

Thanks for your "howto brighten the table" unclewilly :-) I will do that. I understand fully that you prefer dark tables and so release them like that. I 'm very grateful for all your tables creators works
(i tried to recreate the amazing spiderman from gottlieb under future pinball and i know the work creating a table involves)

Cheers

A few observations:

I'm finding it exceedingly hard to hit the spinner with the ball coming from the left flipper, as a matter of fact it seems even to be easier to hit it from the right flipper. huh.gif
There's something about the flippers on this table that feels quite unusual to me but I can't put my finger on it. The physics seem sort of strange making proper aiming very hard.

Also the ball has a nasty habit of landing on top of the right slingshot and then immideatily draining to the right. Quite infuriating and spoling a lot of the fun since 95% of all balls seem to drain to the right.

In case I'm the only one with these problems any help about how to fix these issues myself would be greatly appreciated. smile.gif

Otherwise this is a nice looking table (albeit a little bit on the dark side as mentioned before), I also quite like the mechanical sounds especially the massive sound of the bumpers which add immensely to the experience.

Good job unclewilly! cool.gif

the guys I had playtest the table never mentioned any of these issues. I'll try to recreate them and fix the problems you are having. I'm just waiting for any more issues to be addressed and then I'll put up a v1.1 update. i'd like to fix all the bugs at one time.

I can make a little pack of brighter pf images also and have them available for those that prefer a brighter table. ad you all can import them in if you like.
let me know. I'll try to have an update in the next day or 2. if anyone would be interested in me brightening the pf images, I will provide a download link with the image files for you also. just let me know

Mine looks the same (with hardware rendering turned OFF)
I have ATI card so I think thats the problem
Turning HW render ON fixes but all the lights and other objects get artifacts.
