Hi dboyrecords!

Thx for this nice looking table!!!   Again a table with superb graphics! :)

I have sometimes the problem that the flipper fingers get stuck...   Maybe it has something to do with the animated rotating clock in the middle of the playfield????? Not sure....

Any advice?

Regards :)

That s what you get only when playing under VP 9.92. On VP 9.2 the game runs perfect. I wish this website would somehow make it more user friendly by making an extra section for the later VP games, that will stop mistakes like this forever. Since most games have issues when running the wrong engine I wonder why nobody thought of that yet? This game is also very friendly to convert to a desktop as well. I wish Barb Wire was that easy to convert but with the pics overlapping on the backglass view that almost seems impossible to change

It s not too hard and if your afraid to mess up your current settings just install in a different folder. Then you can never mess it up with your current settings.

works fine with 9.9.1 ... what backglass file do you use ?

Run in EXE Mode (right-click on Backglass) ?

OK I tried again. I don t use a backglass, I m on a desktop and rotated the playfield and set the controller to VPinMAME and am using 9.9.2 wich works as well. The physics and graphics seem to be improved as well so thanks for the tip. Another great game finally playable in VP9.9.2. I also loved the fact that some of the original elements of the VP8 version were still on it. I managed to replicate most of that on my desktop so I am really pleased. I only had to look for the backglass image on the original file.

Glad you got it going. I never delete the original backdrop if it had one.
Newer - try Re-downloading the rom/delete nvram. Just guessing...

Hi dboyrecords,

I just got back to playing this fun table today and noticed  that the upper right ramp has transparency drag, meaning that when the ball goes in there it behaves as if it were moving through molasses. I recall having the same issue with your Caveman, so I'm guessing that whatever you did to fix that will work here as well.  Thanks for this and your many other fine tables!

Edit: I think I answered my own question. I just unchecked the collidable box for the ramp, and it now seems to work fine. I was probably the only one who didn't know about this.
