big thank you to Scapino for his resources

Another big thank you to Andypc for getting Russell Stewart to rebuild a new set of plastics from photos provided by Jeff Ladder.

this table had a wired remote to access the DIP menu.  I did not add that feature to this table.

If you like to adjust any DIP settings,
- download Scapinos VP8 version
- run the vp 8 table
- adjust the DIP switches
- the DIP switch settings will be saved on your PC and will be applied to this table.

Too bad you scratch... :D always fun to hear robot voices.

Thanks Assassin for all the rtm's.

You mentioned that there is a F6 option for credit light, but I hit F6 and it says it doesn't have any options.

You mentioned that there is a F6 option for credit light, but I hit F6 and it says it doesn't have any options.

That is because this is a Bally 6803 table.  These had a numeric keypad inside the machine instead of dip switches to make adjustments.

To display credits (if that is what you are asking):

1. On the keyboard (top row of keys after the function keys) press 9.  You should see 00 in the match/ball in play display (if not press 9 again)

2. On the numeric keypad side type in 30 and press the enter key on the numeric keypad side

3. On the numeric keypad side type 1 and press the enter key on the numeric keypad side

4. Press F3 to save changes and reset the table.

Or you can use the pre-configured nvram for this table found in the nvram pack for bally 6803 and gottlieb system 3 tables.

That should be the procedure.  If not please let me know and I can research further if I have time - my real life situation does not leave me a lot of time these days to tinker with VP or with rom adjustments like I used to.

my mistake,  I mentioned this in the beta thread, but completely forgot.

as mentioned,  use the nvram from the download section.  if not download the VP8 version to configure your dip switches,  it has a built in menu for the remote.

Nice one!

Although this table could definitely do with some redrawn plastics...
