File Name: Amazon Hunt VP9 Batch FS

File Submitter: batch

File Submitted: 29 Dec 2015

File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): Batch
JPSalas (Original Fast Draw table)
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1983
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Ver 1.1 : Edited Sript : added line 21 "Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")" and added comment (line 209)

Now you can use B2S, so big thanks to STAT for this information

              Added side image "Bullseye2Target" to upper targets walls (Sw60a / Sw50a  and  Sw52a / Sw62a)

Ver 1.0 : This FS version is a recreation of  Gottlieb's table "Amazon Hunt"

I used  JPSalas' table "Fast Draw VP9" as starting point

Big thanks to him for his permission to use his table and for his help in the Script edition (ball size, music...)

Sorry if my version is not 100 % like the original, I begun by the apron and I did all the rest in accordance with it, so that's the reason why the table is so colorful and dark

Apron, plastics, targets, plunger, metallic parts and bumper caps are new

I've been lucky for the lateral plastics, even if I've had some resizing to do, but I've had to redraw the upper one

I've so had to resize and rework the playfield for it to fit with the new table dimensions and to redraw all the "lights" on the four superimposed playfields so I can use JPSalas' lighting effect

I first did the DT version, but as I know that most of VPForums members have cabinets, I also did the FS version

Sorry, I forgot to apply the side image "Bullseye2Target" to Walls Sw60a / Sw50a  and  Sw52a / Sw62a

These are images for left and right targets at the top of the table (near left and right bumpers)

Thank you for the table. A little easy, but fun. Now we need a good db2s for it!

Thanks, if someone wants to do it, he is welcome

But I think that he would need to have a nice backglass picture from someone who owns this pinball

Thanks, very nice

I won't be at home from this morning till the end of the week, so if someone could tell me what to do, I'll update the table when I'm back

I think that there's something to add in the Script ?

Nice end of year 2015 to you all and your families !

I could do that directb2s File ... but it is not a surprise, that this one already exists at another site, where are many Backglasses.
Or is there a reason for a new one ?

You have to edit only:
Find Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller") and replace it with
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") or leave the other with a '
Thats all for the Script, ok one more: Change .Hidden = 0 to 1, if not exists,
add the Line between the Controller Lines where are others with .blabla = 1/0

In your Case at the FS Table:
Line 20 (+21):

'Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

and Line 208 (or 209, if you add one, as above):

.Hidden = 1 'just set 0 to 1

About the B2S, tell me, if you want a new with frens Image, and i can do it ;)

I'd say leave it. Current one looks good.

STAT

You can do it if you want, but, please, it would be great if you could add a little shadow effect on it,

for the backglass to be in accordance with the playfield, or, perhaps, do the two versions, clear and darkened

Happy new year to you, STAT and freneticamnesic

And two B2S, it's twice better than one ! :)

I have uploaded version 1.1 of both DT and FS versions

I added side image "Bullseye2Target" to upper targets walls (Sw60a / Sw50a  and  Sw52a / Sw62a)

For the FS version, if you want to use B2S, open the Script and do the following :

Line 20 :  'Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")
Line 21 :   Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

and Line 209  (.Hidden = 1 'just set 0 to 1)

Thanks to STAT for this information, and Happy New Year to everyone on VPForums !

OK, now I'm confused. I downloaded the FS version, but it is showing up sideways on my cabinet playfield monitor.

Hi, thanks for downloading

Open VPinball, click on "Backdrop", then on "Color & Formating"

Is the XY Rotation value = 270 ?

I don't really know what to tell you, I have no cabinet and I just rotated my DT version and adjusted it to fit with my 16/9 screen

But it's very strange if you have a problem only with this table

Can you send a snapshot of your playfield ?

There are many cabinet users on VPForums and I'm sure that they can help you

Is the table centered on your cabinet playfield monitor ?

If no, you can try to change the X Offset value step by step
