'*  If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
'*  folks in the community.
'*
'*  JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
'*  EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
'*  Black - HS save/load routines
'*  Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
'*  Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
'*  Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
'*  Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
'*  JimmyFingers - rolling ball and additional sound routines
'*
The options menu is now available by holding down the left flipper key for about 2 seconds when a game is not in progress. Once opened, left flipper moves between the different menu items and the right flipper goes through that item's available choices.

For this table, I am using my new method for enabling/disabling the dB2S backglass. By default the backglass is disabled. The easy way to enable it is this method:
1.Launch table and then exit. It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMDOFTables.txt"
2.Open this file in notepad and change the "0" to a "1" if you want B2S and the sounds I included in the table script or "2" if you want B2S and the DOF sounds and save.
3.Next time you launch, the backglass will launch.
Or for the die hards out there, create a text file in the USER folder named LMEMDOFTables.txt and put a "1" or a "2" (no quotes) on the first line and save it.

Great news! I've been playing this one on TPA, but I so much prefer VP physics. Looks like another great Loserman release. Thanks.  :)

Thanks for the update LM.. I can't seem to get the backglass to come up. I placed a 1 in the LMDOFTables.txt in the User folder. I do not however , use DOF. Is there something else that we non DOF people need to do?

Just a minor question. I dont know what the actual term is so I will try best to explain.

Is there a way to increase the bonus stepper motor after you drain? It seems to go very slow to calculate the bonus. For example step..3 seconds, 100 points...step...3 seconds 100 points. Any help is appreciated.

If I remember correctly, the real machine acts the same way.

Also---still have not been successful in getting the back glass to work as per my #5 post. Any help?

Not sure which directb2s file you have but rename it to match the table name.

In your users directory is a file created LMEMDOFTables.txt and should contain 1 line .. with simply 1 on it

To speed up the bonus countdown, although the original seems pretty accurate, try changing the 3 lines of

ScoreBonus.interval=500

to

ScoreBonus.interval=200

THANK YOU!

I know the slow bonus count might be authentic, but it has been driving me crazy waiting for the countdown.

okay it worked for me .. have you tried alt-tab to see if the backglass is running but hidden? Double check that file .. there might be two. You want the DOF version of the filename. if its there try removing the file and let the table create a new one for you. Then exit game, edit file, start game.

Alt-tab just brings up the editor. I am using the db2s that is currently showing on the main page...the one he just put up. My previous version displays the backglass just fine. I just don't get it. I also deleted the lmemdoftables.txt and made a new one ( one did NOT appear after playing the first time) ...still no love

Hmm. I assume other B2S backglasses are working so this is not your first one.. (ie you have installed B2S Server and run the register etc etc)

so in the vp\User directory does it create the attached 2 files?

You can override the file .. so lets hard code it to B2S ..

Add these two lines at line #1695 - just before the "end sub"

B2SOn=true
DOFs = false

Attached Files

   Thanks for your help AK. I have some 600 or so tables on my cab and have not had any issue with backglasses. I used your hard code and I got the backglass working. Those 2 files were NOT created when I ran the table. In trouble shooting, I deleted the LMEMDOFTables.txt that I created manually and tried running severall different downloads of the table and bg and it would never created them for me. I wonder why? Apparently noone else has had this issue. I really wanted this version of the table ---mainly for the high score post it for 5 people. So glad these new tables are coming with HS saves! Anyhow--all is good. Thanks a bunch!

Glad you got it .. sounds like underlying permissions problems. Its like it cant read/write that directory. Perhaps check perms on the directory and I assume you run vp as admin.
