This may be a dumb question.  But if I have a high res backglass in a directb2s file, is there a way to get the image out of the file?  I realize I can take a screenshot, but I would lose resolution.  Wondering if there is a way to get the actual image file for use in cabinet graphics.

I have no idea what I am doing.

Import the db2s into the B2S Backglass Designer and export the image.

I have a full size mechanical pinball that the backglass has flaked off. I downloaded a backglass file called Lucky Seven.directb2s.

I also downloaded B2SBackglassDesigner but it doesnt recognize the .directb2s as a file it can edit. Im trying to convert it to a

photoshop file so I can send it out to have a translite made. Is there a program I can use to extract the hi res image from this file?

Thanks

I also downloaded B2SBackglassDesigner but it doesnt recognize the .directb2s as a file it can edit.

If you use File - Open..., the B2sBackglassDesigner will not recognize the directb2s.

You have to import it with "Import 'directB2S' backglass file".

After that you can "Backglass / Export..." it.

Wow, Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. Ive been looking for an original backglass for my Lucky 7 for years.

The backglass was"ok"  until I took it to the Pincinnati Pinball show in December, where after the show

I left it in my trailer all winter till the Louisville Arcade show at the end of march.

I took it out of the trailer and set it up, thats when I noticed about 20% of the paint had flaked off

Again thank you

..Ken

All I need now is to figure out how to export it or save as a photoshop file or jpg. I've looked thru all the menus

and don't see an export and the save as just lets you rename it.

On the bottom bar, right area, the path where the image is saved is indicated, it is inside the folder where you installed the B2s Backglass Designer.

This is the image without lighting.
