File Name: Outer Space (Gottlieb 1972) FS

File Submitter: loserman76

File Submitted: 22 Apr 2015

File Category: VP 9.x B2S Cabinet Tables (B2S)

Author(s): Loserman76
GNance
Arngrim
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1972
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

**** REQUIRES VP 9.9x *****
'*        Gottlieb's Outer Space (1972)
'*        Table primary build/scripted by Loserman76
'*        Table images by GNance
'*        DOF by Arngrim
'*        http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=1728
'*
'*  Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
'*  If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
'*  folks in the community.
'*
'*
'*
'*
'*  JPSalas - gameroom backdrop
'*  Black - HS save/load routines
'*  Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
'*  Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
'*  Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
'*  JimmyFingers - rolling ball and other objects' sound routines
'*  GNance - PostIt and config menu stuff
'*
'*  Of course, the team behind Visual Pinball - without them, there wouldn't be much choice for playing pinball on a PC
'*  I also must include Black and his Future Pinball as I used tables on that platform to help in building my VP tables.
'*
The options menu is now available by holding down the left flipper key for about 2 seconds when a game is not in progress. Once opened, left flipper moves between the different menu items and the right flipper goes through that item's available choices.
This table uses Arngrim's new methodology for DOF/B2S configurations. Be sure to copy the controller.vbs file to your table folder if you don't already have one there.
First run of any table that uses this setup will ask you about DOF and what you have. After that, you are all set.
The backglass is a separate download, so be sure to grab that too

You continue to bring some of the best old EM tables to life. Thank you so much. Hope someone comes up with a Media Pack. I'd like to add this to my Hyperpin

Thanks again loserman76 another great EM table! Love that you made the two BG's for it.  I know its the same table just two scoring reels difference, but by grab this is just like Pokeman, got to catch 'em all! :)

excellent table plays superb like all losermam tables

but whats the secret to get back glass working on this

tried Launch table and then exit. It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMTables.txt"

just says permission denied

would love to get the backglass working :wimper:

Hey rockhouse... the lmemtables.txt is how you get it working.  Open the file and change the 0 to 1.  If you are getting permission errors when you try to edit it, you will probably need to close VP or anything else that might be trying to use the file while you are editing it.

Just make a new .txt file in that folder with that name and type "1" in it.  Just 1 nothing else.
