how do you cut off the sides and make it FS? I don't know the first thing about converting to the format I need. Otherwise i'd be all over this and Defender.

Essentially you play with the x/y position and x/y scale, resizing and repositioning the table. I have played a bit with this, but don't have it down. I'm looking for a tutorial on it. Maybe youtube?

chas>>>>.ok CNeo, this is a general idea.
open the backdrop.
fov 0
roate 270
first xy scale will expand the top and bottom
2nd scale will expand sides equally
3rd scale will move left right.
last scale will move up or down.
if you want layback do it yourself or maybe use some vp91xFS table settings.

you can do this for most vp8/vp9 tables.
some dont rotate so well. i think it is because of the reels and the way it was built. most vp8/vp9 will rotate ok.
then often make the tweaks to the ball release and maybe some other things on the table.
jump in and do it a few times.
it gets easier. piece a' cake.
some vp8 tables rotated for FS might need more work than others.
tweak the ball relaese. use the control points to widen the release.
use the editor to increase the length and width of the ball release gate if needed.
somwetimes the plunger gate might need work or replace it with a vp9 gate from the editor.
after you have done this a few times you will get the drift.
.
