Big Hit Desktop Display Issues

Big Hit VP 9.1.5 Desktop 4:3 Full Screen Win 8.1

Best Answer Pintrepid , 11 January 2015 - 07:50 AM

Hey, Max,

Thanks for the tip about the X and Y Scale in the Backdrop. I've adjusted it so that the table now displays properly.

Curious ... would the large Scale settings like that be used in converting a desktop table to full screen (or vice versa, as it looked like Itch might have been doing here)?

011015 X Y Set Too Large
X and Y Scale seetings are much larger than the Backdrop ... are these settings for a Full Screen table and not Desktop?

011015 X Y Adjusted To Taste
The Y Scale was adjusted so that the height fits within the Backdrop and the X Scale adjusted "to taste".

011015 Table Now Displays OK
The table now displays correctly in full screen desktop.

I'm having display issues with Itchy's Big Hit 4:3 DT VP9 table. For some reason, when I go to play the table in full screen, the table is displaying larger than my viewing area (see picts).

I have a Dell Inspiron 17 3737 laptop, i5 proc, 6 GB RAM, Win 8.1, Intel HD Graphics.

Using VP 9.1.5, monitor set to 1360x768.

Odd ... the oversized PF displays larger than the window when I try to play it in a window instead of full screen.

I had similar issues with Uncle Willy's Strikes 'n' Spares ... but I could play that table in a 1024x768 window.

Most other VP9 DT tables play ok: Star God, Time Warp, etc.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Have a great weekend!

010915 Big Hit Oversize
Itchy's Big Hit displaying larger than monitor (regardless of actual settings, 1360x768 or 1600x900, the PF does the same) when trying to play full screen

010915 Video Options
Here are my video settings.

010915 Big Hit Big Mess
Even if I try to play in a window, in this case, 1024x768, the PF is larger than the window.

010815 Strikes And Spares VP9 UW
I have similar issues with Uncle Willy's Strikes 'n' Spares as well as certain other tables.

010915 Star God No Problem
But Star God plays ok.

010915 Time Warp No Problem
So does Time Warp, and most other DTs and WSs VP 9.1.5 and below.

From your video settings I understand that the resolution of your screen is 16/9.
In Backdrop you can adjust the aspect ratio.
For screens 16/9 multiply the Y scale to 0.75.

example:
X Scale 0.75
Y Scale 1

In previous versions to VP915, the XY Scale only worked with XY Rotation different from 0 (360 ° DT, FS 270 °), now also works with XY Rotation to 0.
Tables made with EMReels require extra work to resize and reposition the EMReels in the right place.
