hi all-

I'm working on a table and believe i have the b2s and table set up correctly, but am getting a "object reference not set to an instance of an object." error.

Is this most likely in reference to a problem with the backglass or my code? Thanks!

You should be able to rule out the B2S by commenting out the B2S.Server call.

I think the error means you passed an object name to a subroutine that is not the name of a VP object, a typo.  Or the method you are trying to use does not apply to that object, like primitive1.isdropped = 1 or wall1.rotz = 5. Or treating something as array but it is not an array

Thanks for your feedback- would i likely get this error if one of my calls to a b2s reel or light is not correct/is misnumbered? thanks!

 Do you have

Option explicit

Near the top of your code to ensure no typos?

yes- that's why I was a little baffled by the nondescript error message- this being said, the error seems to be coming from the backglass server not VP

I resolved this issue by deleting an unused Animation in the B2S Designer that I defined but never finished.

I managed to get this sorted out- it was a matter of it calling a reel that appears to have had a different number.
